I’ve decided to give this rental a nickname, “The Geode”. If you don’t know what a geode is, it’s a volcanic rock with a rough exterior but when you crack it open it’s filled with marvelous, beautiful, multi-colored crystals. From the outside, this “Geode” hardly fits the welcoming feeling you’ll get when you unlock and open the door. Inside there are two large rooms. A living area with a full-size couch, coffee table, and a large-screen TV. The living area also has a fully-equipped kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, an air fryer, and a Keureg. Cups, glasses, plates, bowls, and cutlery. And a small table with stools for sitting. There are a few other cooking items in the cabinets that I didn’t identify other than a two-burner hot plate. A door separates the living area from the equally-large bedroom which has a large dresser, a work desk and chair, the most-comfortable bed ever (in fact I’m waiting for Luc to tell me the brand) , another large flatscreen TV and a large en suite bathroom with an upgraded shower. Water pressure? You might have to duck and we didn’t run out of hot water. So, while you might have to go passed a little rough stuff on the outside of “The Geode”, all of the pretty crystals are on the inside…and that’s what you’re renting isn’t it?As the sign in the bathroom says, “I’d poop here again!”
