'A nice stay. A lovely pub right in the middle of Frome. We stayed here to go to an event at the Cheese and Grain which was perfect. Just be aware that as the rooms are part of an active pub you may get some noise on busier nights'

'Typical pub, have larger number of rooms (think 25), parking in parking garage it is very tight to get in (I drive Tesla X), managed to get in and out without damage, but getting in took me 5-10 minutes of steering Breakfast is typical full english made to order and a piece of fruit. 'My partner and me stayed during the first horrible heatwave in June, to get some respite in the AC that was featured in the amenities of the property. Not only was there AC in the room, but also in the pub/restaurant area! It was absolutely delightful - we struggled leaving! The staff were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. 'We loved it. The George is so warm and welcoming (as opposed to perfect & swanky). The landlady was very friendly and eager to make sure we were happy and that attitude ran through all the staff who were all very kind. Dinner by the river was a highlight. The village doesn't have a lot of entertainment but it's charming and you can while away some time feeding the ducks at the castle (the shop sells duck feed).'

'Super leuk hotelletje. Er zijn maar 3 kamers, wij verbleven in kamer 2, de blauwe kamer. De kamer was heel sfeervol ingericht, had een heerlijk bed, een badkamer met douche en toilet. Beneden was een pub met restaurant en een overdekt terras met een paar tafeltjes. Het eten was heerlijk, wel jammer dat er geen ontbijt gereserveerd wordt.'
