'Very nice hotel, a few minutes walk from Naning Road and the metro station. Al lot of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood . Very nice pool with very friendly service. The rooms and lobby can use an update.'

'Hotel is in very good location . There are lots of restaurants around area and a nice coffee shop just across the street . It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the subway. All staffs of the hotel are friendly and helpful. The room is big and clean. Happy experience for staying in the hotel for two nights.'

'Had a junior suite, the lounge and especially the staff in the lounge (Tina and ?) are amazing! Food is of good quality, location is nice, limo and laundry service are superb. The suite service made it a real Ritz Carlton experience.'

'One of the best hotels in Shanghai, with a President's and Royal suite that has been used by the big and powerful people on Earth. A few years ago they were overbooked and I got the president's suit (in basic state, of course - if a real president would show up for sure all tapestry and so on would be changed). This time a normal suite. Hotel is somewhat ageing, but still top class - something you pay for, of course. All amenities and staff are flawless. Great garden. '

'Grand hotel with good facilities and perfect location to explore Shanghai. A former Hilton hotel where Clinton stayed in the past I was told. Although older, the hotel is comfortable and the spa area is very nice. Close to French district, Jing'An temple and subway station. Good affordable choice for luxury hotel with great service.'

The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after a long day out. Breakfast was excellent — The staff were consistently kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything.
