'The room was clean and comfortable. We had a nice view of the countryside even though we were not facing the sea. The staff were nice and friendly. The only downside was that the parking facilities were quite limited and the space was always tight.'

'Really nice phoned the day before to ask if we could keep our bags there and when we arrived the room had already beeb cleaned which was excellent snd checked in at half twelve. Had an excellent weekend the bed was a bit squeaky cause we were at it all night but still had a really good time first time in Yarmouth will definitely be coming back. Breakfast was good and in a good location right opposite the pier.'

'This is not a conventional hotel but rather a guest house with a fascinating history and purpose. It is run as a charity with a worthwhile purpose and deserves business but just know what you are getting. No question I would go back. Seafront view marvelous. '

'The communication from the hotel was excellent, and accessing the room later in the day via the key box was no problem at all. The location is great—just a short walk to the beach and shops. The room was clean, though definitely a bit tired. The carpets were grubby, and the wallpaper could use some attention. Still, for the price, it was perfectly adequate. It’s unclear whether rooms are let on a longer-term basis, but it seemed that way. Sadly, our neighbour was audibly upset and sobbed...

'Great property in central location. Nick was readily available and helpful during our stay, the studio apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped (not surprising as Nick was always was around with his cleaning equipment). Communication from Hanif prior to check was prompt and responsive. I would definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend it to others.'

'Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. '
