'If you're looking for privacy and serenity, this is the place to stay! The property is well maintained. The Buckhannon river is only a rocks throw away and the sound of the water was very calming. I am from West Virginia and know that area fairly well, but my Garmin GPS took me to this property with no issue. '

'The family had a great time. The cabin was beautiful and clean with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The mornings were greeted with the sound of the Three Fork Creek flowing as you sipped your coffee. Very relaxing. We explored West Virginia and ended our day at Laurel Lodge with a fully equipped kitchen for dinner, campfire and s’mores bye the creek. So far the best family trip ever.'

'You spend so much time picking a vacation spot for your family. It has to be affordable, clean, well taken care of and as described. We’ve been let down more times than I’d like to admit.We traveled in two cars and because my wife and I had to stop for a grocery pickup, my daughter, son and granddaughter went ahead to the rental and I was so relieved when I got a text “IT IS SO CUTE!”.A little later when we arrived with the groceries I was so happy when I seen them come out on the porch smiling...

If you've never visited before, I recommend arriving before they close. if you can't arrive before 5pm, I recommend you confirm exact directions to where you are staying. The directions given are to the general property and the property is really big. So unless you know exactly where you are going, you will get lost. Don't be like me and make certain you know exactly where on the property you will be staying. It is worth it. '

'My husband and I loved staying here for a weekend getaway just the two of us. It was exactly the relaxing country atmosphere we were looking for to reconnect without our children present. The only thing that could've made it better would've been a hot tub, but that would have just been extra decoration on an already deliciously decorated cake. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit outside, talking, and relaxing with each other. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cozy cabin retreat!'
