The space an old English North Yorkshire freestanding cottage that use to be a barn house for cows over 300 years ago whilst on there way to the market.

We love old buildings, the history, the character, the way they make you feel and how they tell a story.
Before we renovated it, it was a mess inside & out which we really wanted to bring back to life.
What we have tried to achieve is to keep the history of the building, to feel that charm and character.
We have restored and renovated the cottage to keep a lot of the traditional features with the touch of luxury and comfort for our guests.
The traditional style bathroom features a Burlington high cistern toilet, vintage claw modern bath.
The bedroom has a dressing table, very comfortable king size bed, vintage wooden shutters & cast iron radiators.
The cottage has exposed beams throughout.
The self contained kitchen includes an electric AGA, Neff induction Hob and a walk in pantry if you fancy cooking.
It lies in a quiet, cobbled stone court yard, set back from the main street & central to all local amenities.
When you enter The Cow House it feel’s like you have stepped back in time, a slower, relaxed, warm hug feeling.

No parking at the property as it is located in a small yard, the closest long stay car park is a 2-5min walk on Church street, opposite Mister Chips and next to Fleece Pub.
