Chesapeake Bay Luxury Beachfront Retreat

Ga weg van alles op Henry's Island biedt verleidelijke privacy en een adembenemend uitzicht op de Chesapeake Bay. Geniet van het 5 hectare grote Bay-front huis wiens eigen zandstrand is voorzien van unieke Northern Neck zandduinen. Zwemmen, krab, vis of gebruik verstrekt kano, kajak of paddle board om het water te verkennen. Ontspannen op lounge stoelen met een ijzige drankje (margarita machine inbegrepen). Neem in de baai wind tijdens het lezen van een boek of slapen op het strand. De open plattegrond en 9 ft. Plafonds bieden een spectaculair uitzicht op kale adelaars, visarend en de reiger kijken zonder het verlaten van de prachtig ingerichte huis. Dineer binnen uitzicht op de baai of eten buiten op het instellen na het gebruik van het gas grill patio. Drie slaapkamers koning (waaronder twee master suites), een stapelbed kamer en een aparte speelkamer maken het comfortabel en leuk voor kinderen en volwassenen.


Voor elk wat wils: Tour een van de historische Northern Neck's 19 musea, golf diverse uitstekende golfbanen op slechts enkele minuten, waaronder het bekroonde Koning Carter Club (2006 beste betaalbare openbare cursus Golf Digest's in Amerika) of genieten van de beste wijnen van Virginia's op de Chesapeake Bay Wine Trail . A Wonderful Family Getaway — Already Booked for Next Year!We’ve been coming to this area for 25 years, and with our growing family, we were thrilled to find a home that could comfortably accommodate us, our daughter and son-in-law, and our granddaughter — with a second granddaughter on the way!This house was everything we hoped for and more. The beach access is perfect for young children, with calm, shallow water that feels safe and relaxing. Inside, the home is spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the living room has plenty of seating for everyone. The kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of plates and silverware, and the internet worked great throughout our stay. We also loved the outdoor seating and the extra touches like the canoe and paddle board! The home and setting are even more beautiful and welcoming in person.We were also so impressed to see that past guest suggestions (like adding bedside tables, a dresser in the bunk room, and additional outdoor seating) have already been addressed. It really shows how considerate and responsive the owners are to their renters, which made us feel even more at home.A few small suggestions that would make the stay even more enjoyable:•The outdoor shower didn’t drain, which made it difficult to use.•lamps on the bedside tables would have been nice and there were multiple light bulbs out throughout the house.Definitely not negative comments but ideas to make a great home better. Dream Property

This property is absolutely amazing. The listing and pictures do not do it justice. The home is much larger than the posting makes it seem and the private beach is absolutely perfect. The shallow and calm waters were perfect for my children who enjoyed the water from sun up until sun down. There was an issue (that really was a non issue) that the owner of the property communicated to us prior to arrival. Although it was really a non- issue, the communication was appreciated. We were so pleased with the location of this property and everything that was provided along with it that we will hopefully return next year for a longer period of time! Thank you so much for allowing us to be your guests.

The perfect place for us

This was the second year in a row we have stayed here, and we absolutely loved it! The house was clean and smelled so fresh when we arrived, and the location is so beautiful. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, and the fishing was fantastic. Diane is a wonderful host, and we hope to stay here again in the future!

Whitestone Stay

Cant say enough about the views from this property and the feeling as though you have the bay all to yourself! Kitchen was perfect and there was plenty of room for the 8 of us (4 adults and 4 teens) to eat and cook and hang out and play games and just be together! We took the opportunity to spend a day in Kilmarnock (VERY close) with great shops and great grocery store (Tri-Star for the win) and you've GOT to try Small Town Burger for the best smashburger in the Northern Neck...and this is coming from a guy who loved NNK Burger before they burned down! While it in no way detracts from the place at all...the mosquitos and horseflies there are no joke, be prepared to go to battle with them!

Amazing location!

We had three generations… grandparents , two grown kids and their spouses, and kids ranging from 10 months to 12 years. The location can’t be beat. The water is calm, private sandy beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, spacious kitchen, gas BBQ. We all loved it!

5th year - great family vacation

We have rented this house for the last 5 years. Cleanliness has always been a little patchy but this year the house had not been cleaned at all when we arrived, the laundry was done but bathrooms, kitchen and all floors were obviously not touched. It was not pleasant to walk into a vacation house and find other people’s waste. However, I want to say - I contacted Dianne and she responded quickly, apologized and refunded our cleaning fee. I know it’s difficult for owners to know what the cleaning company is actually doing, they can’t be there every week to check on things. This is a great house in a beautiful, private location. We love going there with our family - it’s perfect for our young grandsons. Once issues with cleaning company are ironed out it will be a 5 star property for sure.

In our own little world!

The location and the size of this house are amazing! It fit all 12 of us easily. We were able to see the water from every window and the walk out to the beach was so simple! I could even hear the kids playing in the water from my room! There are some tree stumps sticking up on the beach, so walk with caution! The water was perfect for all our young swimmers and our big fishermen! The flies were biting when we got there and Diane was so kind to quickly send us some fly bags! She was extremely helpful and responsive to all our needs! Only suggestion would be an update of some of the kitchen stuff - pans, spoons and cereal bowls for the kids. But so minor while you are enjoying this beautiful place! My dad even asked when we are coming back!

3 generations family vacation

We enjoyed the views looking across the bay, spacious and well-equipped kitchen, shallow water out to breakwater and upstairs play area. Saw bald eagles, great blue herons, deer, raccoon and rabbits. Sunrises are awesome. Bedrooms very comfortable. Our adult children and the grandchildren enjoyed the paddleboard and kayak. I, grandpa, was happy to sit on the porch, watch the other generations having a great time together, and enjoy my glass of wine. Recommend an early morning trip to Chesapeake Doughnut Company in White Stone for a selection of fresh baked doughnuts for your crew to enjoy. We took turns preparing and serving meals and everyone loved the kitchen and dining areas.

Perfect family get away!

This property is perfect for families with young children. It allows everyone to relax! Beach is perfect for young kids to enjoy safely and parents to breathe and relax! Water is calm and shallow enough to enjoy without worry! My four year old grandson said it was like having a huge pool! Diane was a great hostess and communicator! Only negative is cleaning staff…had to fold all the towels from previous renters, but honestly I tell you this so the property owners are aware…did not affect our wonderful time! This is a true gem of a place!

We had a wonderful stay! The location of the property is private and there is plenty to do for everyone of all ages. The fishing and crabbing kept everyone entertained. Highly recommended for unplugging and having time together!

The house was beautiful and the location was perfect. The house definitely needs a deep cleaning and the cleaning service that the owner uses needs to be stepped up for the cleaning time between tenants. There were a couple of complaints and the owner did refund a small amount of the rental fee.

Lovely area with lots to do and steps away from your very own beach. We enjoyed how shallow the water was before it reaches the jetty, which made us more comfortable with the children playing for extended periods. We appreciated the variety of outdoor equipment for us to enjoy in the water. The house is gorgeous and spacious. Unfortunately we did have some issues during our stay with the cleaning upon arrival, unannounced construction/yard work every morning resulting in us not being able to come or go at certain times or being woken up early, and the AC not working for 1.5 days. We understand these things can happen during home rentals and didn't plan to bring up the issues until the AC stopped working. Diane was very responsive once I did reach out and she provided us a very fair refund. Overall, I think we would consider staying here again.

Family Vacay

The setting is beautiful. We all loved seeing the dolphins and other creatures of the bay during our romps on the private beach. The house has lots of space for large gatherings and the back porch was a favorite with our group. The only downside was water dripping from the ceiling over the bed- this was not fun for the couple assigned to this bedroom. Hopefully, the repair was made so the next family will not have to deal with the annoyance.

Picture perfect vacation

Had a wonderful time fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, sitting on the porch watching the dolphins swim by. Two items I would recommend updated TVs as we could only watch the same things upstairs as the down stairs tv had on, also we had some issues with the internet.. we had some storms and buggy nights which forced us inside. Overall would definitely visit again.
