'Attended for a wedding. The ballroom for functions was excellent, the perfect size, well decorated and with a good sized dance floor. Our room was perfect - whilst not huge, no space was wasted and we didn't feel cramped. Nice sized shower too which is always a plus, no bashing my elbows whilst washing my hair! Bed nice and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and professional and helped us with everything we needed. No complaints, I'd happily stay again :) '

She was extremely helpful when I needed more towels. The front desk was not manned at all times so I was lucky to come across her. She went out of her way to help me though she was clearly busy.

'The look of the hotel from the outside is perfect, very romantic, but there is a lot to be desired to give this a decent rating.
We had a very small room (which was disappointing if you look at the photo's and we thought that with only 20 rooms they would all be about alike) with uncomfortable beds, no minibar, small shower and lots of details were just off and needed a lot of maintenance.

'Wat een mooie grote kamer, met mooi uitzicht. Eindelijk een douche met een fatsoenlijke waterstraal, zodat je je haren goed kan wassen. De bedden lagen perfect. Het enige wat eventueel verbeterd zou kunnen worden is het klapperen van de deur als er iemand naar een ander gedeelte van het hotel ging en de tussendeur dicht sloeg. Daar schrok ik de eerste paar keer wel van in de ochtend. Maar het beste hotel van de 5 in Schotland die wij gehad hebben in dezelfde prijsklasse. '

First floor and overlooking the station concourse. Pretty good soundproofing, but I did hear the rail announcements quite early (7am) and there seemed to be quite a few. Light sleepers beware.
