'This was our first trip to the Black Hills, and the Little Elk Cottage was the perfect setting for our trip. The cottage is adorable, very private and within reasonable driving times to the area’s attractions. The cottage was well equipped and well furnished. The commute to Terry Peak was easy. The host was easy to communicate with and made everything clear. We will visit this property again!'

'Very peaceful location. House was clean. Has large yard and would be great area to sit outside at night on a summer night. Hosts were attentive and prompt when we requested additional firewood for the wood burning stove. Had four fawns visit one evening. Spent all waking hours sight seeing and visiting attractions. If you have not experienced a self recycling toilet, you may be surprised. But I must say, due to the way the toilet vents there is absolutely no odor. The bed and toilet sit high, so...

'Comfy, cozy, clean, well equipped, quiet'

'What an adorable property! We arrived late evening but check in was a breeze and I couldn’t stop carrying on about how cute this small space was. Great for singles or couples. A short walk to Black Hills State University where we watched our boys run track. My favorite thing about Spearfish has got to be the rec walking paths.
