'The house is located on the river and is fantastic. Really, you have got to sit on the deck and soak up the peaceful waters, watch the deer and eagles (yes, eagles), and other wildlife. The interior is fully functional and laid out really well for relaxation. Really appreciated the NetFlix too for late evening chilling. Cannot go wrong staying here. Owners were great to work with and communicated really well. We'll be back!'

'The host/owner was amazing. Only downside and in no way her fault or in her control is Verizon cell service doesn’t work in that area. That being said really want a downside seeing that people didn’t have there faces in there phones all weekend. Also very confident that she also owns and operates a convenient store attached to the property. Being in such a remote area it was useful at times. I highly recommend starting here. 'Traveling with 3 adults, 3 kids 1-13 and 2 dogs and we all fit. Cottage was very clean, air conditioner worked wonderfully and communication with the host was prompt. The kids loved the fishing, kayaks and paddle boats. The neighbors were great and very friendly. I highly recommend Van Cleve park and Gladstone beach if your traveling with kids. 'This place was located perfectly between the park and the main drag where all the food is. And the kids lost their minds every time they walked out the door and saw Lake Michigan with a big cargo ship setting in port. My wife loved the coffee bar available to use. I would say if I would have to criticize anything I would say we should have picked a place with two bathrooms but that’s on us.
