'My family and I were slightly hesitant about booking a cottage in the midst of winter but we all had the best time ever. The Cottage is gorgeous and the wood-burning stove made it super cosy, the kids adored playing on the trampoline for hours on end. We discovered some stunning countryside walks and forests and quaint old Kentish pubs serving amazing food - we all want to come back already. Really organised hosts too - thank you !'

'Small in size but big in style. We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Sweet Shop. It is beautifully and quirkily decorated, making the most of its small size. It had everything we needed, including picnic chairs for the beach which is directly across the road, and retro sweet shop sweets for the kids. It’s the perfect location for exploring Deal. We loved opening the window to see the sun sparkling on the sea every morning. The only thing that would stop us going again is our kids getting too...

'The whole family loved the pool and enjoyed the tennis court. Using the cottages for 4 people means that 2 people in the attic look down on the 2 below. The Wi-Fi in Oast did not work. We said this but it was not made good as promised. (This is trivial) The family loved it and would book again. The online listing did not say how good the pool is.'

Bovendien een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een trip, te voet of met de auto, in de omgeving waar vooral het erfgoed en het Britse platteland te bezoeken is. We keren zeker terug.'

'We had a lovely stay in this cottage. We had easy access to Faversham and Sittingbourne and there were many footpaths available for walks with our dogs. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and all the rooms were tastefully furnished. Everywhere was so clean and tidy. We would thoroughly recommend it. '

'The property was delightful and beautifully decorated. There was a problem with parking and we were blocked in on many days. There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had.'

'The property was very clean and tidy. The Continental Breakfast provided was varied, plentiful and fresh. We only met the owner, Rosie and one other member of staff called Linda. Both were very welcoming, nice, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t really have time to investigate the area as our stay there had been for the purpose of visiting friends who we had met on previous holidays abroad and to attend their daughter’s wedding. We wouldn’t hesitate to book to stay at Hogwarts again...

'Ric’s cottage has been renovated to the highest standard and has all the amenities for an extremely comfortable stay in Whitstable. A bit of trouble initially finding a parking space but once we found one, we had no need to use the car again, as everything was within walkable distance. Lovely garden for sundowners! Slight issue with a toilet, which was resolved immediately. Great selection of restaurants and coffee shops plus lots of independent shops to peruse at your leisure. Thanks Ric for a...

'We spent a few days in this wonderful holiday house, spotless clean, good garden and nice balcony. We were looking forward to sitting in the garden shed, but (un)fortunately we had stunningly nice weather, so the garden shed wasn’t used after all. Also communication with the owner was very nice. To be recommended!'
