The property was cozy, private, and spotless. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, the showers were very unique and amazing, and it had everything anyone could need. We even checked out the jacuzzi, which looked brand new and very clean. The only reason we didn’t give it a full 5-star review was our disappointment with how a power outage was handled. From 5 p.m. until noon the next day, we had no power, water, or working toilets. While it wasn’t the host’s fault, we didn’t hear from them for 12 hours, and they came across as less than empathetic. We lost all the groceries we had for the next two days and ended up leaving early, unsure when things would be restored. The only message we received was that we would get a 30 percent discount for one night.This was our first getaway in years and cutting it short by 2 days was very disappointing. (Please know that when you drive to this property, you will be driving past a couple of 'Private Property' signs, and it's deceiving because it looks like you're driving on someone else's driveway before you get to this actual rental property. )
