'Absolutely loved pretty much everything about this place. The staff was super friendly and accomodating. The room was great. Very spacious, comfortable, clean, plenty of space to put clothes away (big closets). The bathroom is massive with seperate shower and bath. One of the 2 showerheads wasn't working very well, but it didn't bother us as we used the other one. The hotel pool is not very big but a good size to cool down in the summer heat. 'We enjoyed Boschendal again this year after having stayed there during peak COVID times in 2021. The concept is great and well executed. The liveliness of the winery really ads to the experience especially during Saturday picknicks and the Friday night market. Our daughter loved the large playground. 'I can't imagine having a better experience - the most wonderful hospitality & it's a perfect location. The staff is exceptional & the apartments are spacious, comfortable, & private. The town is great the main thoroughfare is literally seconds from the hotel & on the corner opposite the property there's puzza/pasta restaurant with a large courtyard that has live music sometimes. The private area outside and the pool are fab, pretty garden with lots of flower's and shrubs to attract the birds. Jan sent us useful information on booking and then more on check in which helped us decide how we would spend our time, he gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and vineyards to visit. Er lopen 4 grote Duitse herders rond die het terrein bewaken: 1 hapte naar mijn jongste, niet echt fijn maar gelukkig geen verwonding. Het huisje ligt vlakbij een drukke weg. Er is geen airco. Budgettechnisch gezien voor Franschhoek een prima keuze, maar het had niet de charme, ligging of luxe die we zijn tegengekomen bij andere...
