'We stayed whilst attending a wedding at Grangefields Barn. The hotel is lovely and would highly recommend the breakfast. Thanks to Richard for making sure we had a comfortably stay. '

'Uitstekend hotel. De mensen achterdeur balie zijn uiterst behulpzaam en deskundig. We hebben een nacht bijgeboekt omdat er zoveel te doen en zien was en het hotel een perfecte uitvalsbasis was. Het restaurant heeft prima eten en ontbijt. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk, maar vergeten regematigd je bestelde drankje te brengen. Soms loop men druk heen en weer, maar er gebeurd weinig. Beter overzicht van bv. een manager. '

'Good hotel, good location, although all the outside restaurants are a 15 minute walk away. Had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant, which was good. Parking is in a public parking place 5 minutes away; hotel guests pay half the normal price: 8 GBP a day. Nice and helpful staff. Room was not very large but OK although the airco caused an unpleasant draught and had to be switched off when I was in the room. My main gripe is the wifi connection in the room which runs (if it runs at all) at 0.16...

'het hotel staat net aan de verkeerde kant van het station. Als je de stad in wilt moet je eerst een stuk lopen. Je moet overigens door de poortjes van het station anders moet je helemaal omlopen. Het ontbijt is zeker niet bijzonder voor de prijs (10 pond p.p.), het werd karig aangevuld en de dame van het hotel had de tafel al afgehaald toen we nog een ronde brood gingen halen. English breakfast is niet zo goed (er ligt weinig), continental breakfast is nog kariger. Je kunt beter je ontbijt...

'WOW! What a brilliant little place!!! Tucked away on the edge of a pretty little market town, the facilities and attention to detail are flawless! This is the perfect place for a couples getaway! The pub next door serves good food and offers friendly service. We will certainly be making a return visit and would recommend Stables to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic getaway'

'A heritage hotel with interesting history as a bank and courthouse, amazing staircase and overlooked by the cathedral, walk to restaurants in city centre. Quiet location but limited metered on street parking. Cosy rooms, comfortable and good quality beds. Cooked breakfast but would have liked to see fresh juices and fruit as healthy alternatives. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely stay again.'
