'Some challanges to find the location, but it was re-designed and looked very well. on monday the kitchen is closed which is a point because in the villages isn't much to eat. Eating is maybe not the strongest point, the continental breakfast was underneath the quality we suspected. I don't know which continent they are refering to but it looked Africa. '

'Facilities in hotel and room as expected for a hotel. Has a somewhat tired look about the building dreaming of former glory. For some of the staff they gave the impression thast they were in employment but not within the hotel trade.'

'This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District.'
