'Some challanges to find the location, but it was re-designed and looked very well. on monday the kitchen is closed which is a point because in the villages isn't much to eat. Eating is maybe not the strongest point, the continental breakfast was underneath the quality we suspected. I don't know which continent they are refering to but it looked Africa. '

'Really lovely stay. The room was spotless and exactly as we expected. Twin room with en suite shower and bath, situated above a tea room in Bonsall (approx. 5 minute drive from Matlock Bath). Decor was fresh and clean, bed warm and comfy and clothes storage more than adequate. Hospitality tray with hot drinks and biscuits and a selection of toiletries. The breakfast was outstanding. Amazing find and would highly recommend and definitely return.'

'Good hotel, good location, although all the outside restaurants are a 15 minute walk away. Had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant, which was good. Parking is in a public parking place 5 minutes away; hotel guests pay half the normal price: 8 GBP a day. Nice and helpful staff. Room was not very large but OK although the airco caused an unpleasant draught and had to be switched off when I was in the room. My main gripe is the wifi connection in the room which runs (if it runs at all) at 0.16...

'The hotel room was ok and spacious. Shower gave not so much water. But in general it was a rundown place. We had to wait for food and breakfast long times. At breakfast some plates were not clean. The juice containers were almost empty. And on our departure date we couldn’t get breakfast because of a problem in the kitchen. While having breakfast there was the constant noice of the vacuum cleaner. When mobbing the floor, the employee hardly cleaned the mob in the bucket. The general appearance...
