'Excellent staff, very clean room, nice bar with plenty of choice, breakfast was lovely, (i had the english breakfast), all for a bargain price in my view, would definitely stay again, in fact we already plan to stay here when were in the area again, if i had one small niggle it would be the quality of the rump steak i had in the evening, it was a very tough bit of meat, it wasnt the way it was cooked as it was exactly as I'd asked for, it was just quite tough and stringy'

'Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return '

'We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure. We had an evening meal which we would rate as excellent, plenty of very friendly staff and a short wait for our food. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and varied. 'I loved the place, I was welcomed with a welcome package with tea and supplies. It was a 245 year old cottage so it has a few “features” which I loved the most about the place. I loved the three story staircase which was very good cardio. I’d love to stay again wonderful '
