'We had 2 nights at oakhurst and really relaxed. The staff were so helpful and could not have done more to ensure we had a good stay. We enjoyed running in the woods, swimming in the dam and chilling in the hot tub.'

'The place has a great view of the ocean, but the rooms are disappointing for the price you pay as there are none of the regular items you'd expect, such as a microwave or ice trays. There is a notice in the room that all kitchen items have been removed due to fire hazards, but all the other places we went to simply upgraded to improve their safety and still provide guest with the needed items. 'The ideal place to stay on the Garden Route as approximately halfway.However more importantly The Trading Place exudes a beautiful calm rustic charm, exemplifed by the host. The most delicious breakfast awaits you at a time of your choce, the bread is homemade. Highly recommended is their preordered pizza in the evening. 'Great service'

'We wanted to love this place. The location and house is sublime. The staff is very nice as well. The problem is that we payed a great deal for two nights, but there was no hot water for the entire stay. On the morning we were leaving, prior to check out time, they just shut off the water altogether with no warning. They did give us 10% off for one night. But that was hardly compensation for the water situation. I just can’t recommend this place. '
