Enige vakantiewoning in de Grand Canyon

Het # 1 en enige privé vakantiehuis in de Grand Canyon. Gelegen op het dichtstbijzijnde landgoed op slechts enkele minuten van het park. Met 2 woonkamers, 5 slaapkamers en 3 badkamers vindt u dit volledig ingerichte huis zoveel comfortabeler dan een hotel. Leuke herinneringen gebeuren hier !! Het is zo handig voor al uw dagtochten. Zeer privé en rustig, omringd door de natuur en het vriendelijke dierenleven genesteld in je eigen kleine wereld op slechts een minuut van de snelweg naar Grand Canyon. Neem het gezin mee, breng er 2 mee, je hebt genoeg ruimte om van je eigen ruimte en een prachtige natuurervaring te genieten, gewoon vanuit je eigen huis. Geniet van 2 ruime zithoeken. Men heeft een open haard, met een geweldig zuidwesten decor. Een privé familiekamer die een rustige plek is om te bezoeken of te lezen. Je kunt een grote menigte in de grote landelijke keuken passen. . .vol ingericht. De grote tafel kan worden uitgebreid tot 11 stoelen met meer aan de bar en voldoende of kookgerei en aanrechtruimte. Vergeet de zonsondergang en het geweldige uitzicht niet.

Na een prachtige zonsondergang kunt u genieten van het lokale nachtleven met een breed scala aan entertainment of een rustige avond rond de open haard / houtkachel genieten van elkaars gezelschap of kijken naar uw favoriete schotelnetwerkkanaal.
Dit gebied is de droom van een kunstenaar en fotograaf. De kinderen zijn vooral dol op de Flintstones Town, de arcade, bowlen, Indiaas dansen en cowboy zingen, allemaal op ongeveer vijf minuten afstand, en de Deer Farm met zoveel tamme en vriendelijke wilde dieren, op slechts 30 minuten afstand.
Je voelt de eigenaardigheid en rust van rustieke afgelegen gebieden, maar toch slechts twee minuten verwijderd van Highway 64 en ongeveer 15 minuten van het Grand Canyon National Park.
Dit huis met uitzicht op de bergen ligt gunstig dicht bij alle plaatsen die u wilt bezoeken. En gemakswinkels, gas en eten, restaurants en cadeauwinkel faciliteiten zijn slechts ongeveer 5-10 minuten, afhankelijk van welke kant je op gaat.

Spacious home just outside Grand Canyon

We stayed here with a big field team geologizing in the Grand Canyon. The home was a cheerful base of operations, with a big kitchen, lots of room for everyone, and mere minutes from the South Entrance. Looking forward to staying again.

Good for large families or groups

Very comfortable for our family of 5. The kitchen was very well equipped. It's basically as close as you can get to the Grand Canyon for a rental house. Some of the decor is outdated and could be updated, and the water pressure was often low or uneven. Very peaceful and quiet, with beautiful sunsets.

All five adults loved this property. It’s an easy 20 min drive from GC park entrance and much more affordable than the hotels in Tusayan or in GC park. We also enjoyed havi g kitchen, separate bedrooms and common area.

Great home near the Grand Canyon

We stayed there along with my husband's parents, and we had more than enough space. The kitchen is well stocked, and we enjoyed some quiet time there after spending most of 2 days at Grand Canyon. It's about a 30 minute drive from the house to the entrance of the Grand Canyon (more if the traffic is backed up at the pay stations due to the government cuts), so it's about as far away as I would like to stay with driving back and forth.Trish is super helpful, and we would happily stay there again should we return to the area.

Excellent!! Sept 25-27,2024

A long dirt/gravel road leads to this secluded gem, which is unimpressive from the outside but fantastic inside. Four siblings, three spouses and one cousin (all 60 plus years old) thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, clean home. We all agreed that it was our favorite VRBO out of the four we stayed in on this epic 17 day national park tour! We especially loved the large dining table and the two "living rooms" (the sofas were all very comfortable.) Two full bathrooms and a half bath made it really easy for all of us old folks to have access to frequent night time visits! Highly recommend!

Good beginning, rough ending

First, the positives... This property was very conveniently situated near the Grand Canyon National Park and other local destinations. The views were lovely. The home is spacious enough for a large family vacation and nicely decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at night. When we arrived, there was a problem with the water pressure and cleanliness. The property manager took care of this problem (the result of a recent water filter change) in less than 24 hours. Unfortunately, the second half of our stay was not without its issues. There was an infestation of flying insects in my daughter's bedroom, more than a dozen each night. More problematic was the horrible smell in the master bathroom and bedroom. It seemed to us that an animal had likely died either under the home or in the walls or vents. Initially, this could be contained by closing the doors and not spending any time in the space, but later the strong odor permeated into the living space. This made it difficult to enjoy watching TV in the living room and eating dinner together in the dining room. My husband and I had to sleep on the couch during the last two nights of the stay as the smell in the master suite was intolerable. We contacted the property manager who then came out to address the problem by sealing off the vent. This did not solve the problem. We have requested a partial refund to compensate for the issue and are waiting to hear from the property manager who was away due to a family emergency.

Needs a little love….

We stayed here for two nights on a multi stop road trip through the area with a group of 7. First the positives: very responsive owner who responded quickly when messaged, beautiful sunsets, lots of stars, the fire pit out front, lots of space to spread out Areas for improvement: The listing says 10 min from the GCNP gate. It is not 10, but 30, minutes, with no traffic. That is misleading. We were a little surprised when we pulled up because the house did not look as pictured in the photos from the outside. It looks like it was well taken care of and loved at one point, but has been let go. It is out in the middle of the country. Cell service and wifi are very spotty. We did not receive text messages. Just fyi in case that is a problem for you. The inside of the house, while “clean-ish” is shabby. If smelled strongly of floor cleaner, but things like the fake greenery and flowers all over the house had a thick layer of dust on them, the pot holders were caked in food and we found dirty dishes in the cabinets. You can tell a lot of people stay here. There was a list of things mentioned in these reviews that were still not addressed/fixed months later. We shared a list with the owner during our stay. Lots of chipped paint, patched walls, dirty baseboards, stained carpet… I will be honest, we were quite surprised by the high reviews this place has received. I think this place could be great with a little paint, new carpet and a good deep clean out.

Spacious house.

Eight of us comfortably fit in this home. Nicely isolated location and fairly close to the park. One thing to note is the water heater is on a timer. A bit of a surprise, but not a big issue. Would go back!

Grand Canyon Trip

We enjoyed our stay in this house. I will say it is apparent this house gets a lot of guests through it. It is well stocked with paper supplies, kitchen needs, linens, games, and toys for kids. We brought food with us and we had all we needed for our stay. We were disappointed we didn't see any wildlife except a squirrel and hummingbird. The property is not in perfect condition but having guests in and out can account for some of the defects.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable! It was very close to the GrandCanyon which was perfect. The dark sky was so cool- you could see the Milky Way from the deck! Trish was very responsive with the couple questions we had. A definite stay again! Thanks!

Ranch house to meet your needs? Yes. Refinement? Definitely not.

Re-reading the listing after staying here, it's clear to me that it's been written by a professional property manager or real estate agent. We did enjoy our stay, yes, and Trish was responsive and gracious about questions & concerns - HOWEVER the quality and attention to detail were sadly significantly below what I had hoped, which was particularly disappointing since I was booking with my 80 year old parents :-( A few examples: - "hair dryer included" meant literally one hair dryer (that is, in one of 3 bathrooms) - entryway stairs are in disrepair and a very literally disintegrating outdoor mat are hazardous for anyone, but especially anyone with *any* mobility issues - there were (unmarked) dead outlets in the kitchen and unusable fans in some bedrooms - kitchen might be "well stocked" in terms of literal items available for use but the chaos with which they're stored added frustration and limited the kitchen's usability..... And there's more, but my purpose isn't to blast this listing so much as to say you should know what you're paying for. This is a windswept, rather-dated ranch house in the middle of pretty much nowhere (yes, there's a convenience store 5-10 minutes away but not more than that for 30 minutes) with all the basics covered, brand new washer/dryer, comfortable living room sitting areas, a great remote location close to the Grand Canyon, and incredible stargazing...but don't expect refinement.

Went here for a birthday weekend with 9 people. Nice place - clean, well equipped, large, 25 minutes from Grand Canyon and 30 minutes from Williams. Host super helpful and accommodating! Go grocery shopping in Williams on your way in.

Spacious and comfortable residence near GC

We had a great experience in this comfortably equipped 4BR (+ one room with small fokdout bed) house about equidistant between Williams and the South Rim. The hodts eere gracious and responsive as well. Highly recommended.
