'Nice economical hotel'

'We enjoyed out short stay at the Freehand in Chicago. We were originally placed in a room on the 17th floor. However, the air conditioning wasn't working so they quickly moved us to another quad room on the 4th floor. The space worked great for my family of 4 adults. We also enjoyed talking with Selma at the bar while watching World Cup games.'

'We stayed here for 5 days and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. During our entire stay, our room was not cleaned even once. The only things that were done were replacing towels and emptying the trash bins. For a stay of several days, you expect much more. It is also ridiculous that, on top of the already expensive room rate, you are required to pay a very high resort fee while receiving almost nothing in return. 'This hotel is truly beautiful — Art Deco style, full of character and soul. The lobby is stunning, and the corridors feel like they transport you to a different era, with elegant marble floors… It could easily be a museum.
