Charming Condo in Historic Downtown Building

Summary:
This gorgeous one bedroom residence is located within the historic Wooster House building in downtown Wilmington, close to restaurants, bars, shopping, and just steps from downtown's famous Riverwalk district. Pet friendly and featuring a completely renovated and fully equipped kitchen, this residence aims to please with a spacious living room, brand new streaming TVs, high speed wifi, and a private entrance! Also of note are the large semi-private yard adjacent to this unit, perfect for walking your favorite furry friend, having a picnic, or simply laying back with a choice book in hand!

The Space:
This residence is a one bedroom, one bathroom, property of approximately 500 square feet. It features a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer combo, dining table with service for four, and a sleeper sofa and flat screen streaming TV in the living room. The bedroom features a posturepedic king bed and an en-suite bathroom with walk in shower and single vanity. The residence features two entrances, one private and located off of the kitchen and the other located inside the primary hallway of the 8-unit complex.

Guests have access to the entire premises of unit 4.

Other Things to Note:
Guests must complete a rental agreement. There is a $75 non refundable pet fee which entitles guests to bring up to 2 medium sized dogs. No cats or other animals are permitted in this property.

Perfect location for our weekend getaway. We were in town to see a show at the Wilson Center and dinner at Oliverio - right between both.

The location was great, walkable to the entire downtown area including many great restaurants and night spots. The unit was fairly clean but there was a stain on the bedding and the towels had a strong musty and moldy smell. There were few amenities, some dish soap, hand soap, a hair dryer, and only 2 k-cups for coffee but no sugar or creamer. There was no soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwasher detergent, or any sort of welcome guide. My biggest gripe is that I wasn’t aware of the lack of parking. Parking in Wilmington is expensive and not being from the area, I wasn’t aware and finding something close isn’t always easy. Fortunately we only stayed for 2 nights and were only in the unit to sleep.

I enjoyed this little apartment. The property manager was extremely attentive and provided immediate assistance when I needed some help upon arrival. This is a downtown location, so if you are a light sleeper, brung earplugs and eye mask. The lication is fabulous for restaurants, bars, and coffee shops! face

Historic wilmington condo !

We loved how convenient this one bedroom condo was to downtown and shops, and restaurants and coffee shops ! It was clean and comfortable . We had some difficulty finding the lock box but it was late when we arrived and once we fgured after calling the property mgr all went well well !!

Great kitchen and king bed mattress!

It it a busy area, lots of shops and thru traffic nearby. The condo was as promised, minus an issue with the bed frame that was resolved the following morning. I wish parking was better communicated. You will have to pay to park daily. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. We would stay again.

Small Issue Resolved Right Away

There were two small issues (one with a blown light bulb and one with a window blind) which, when I contacted the host, was resolved the very same day. The host was easy to contact and responded in a timely manner. I plan to book this place for a future stay.

Overall Great Experience

This unit is exactly what we were looking for dog friendly, ease of communication for property manager, easy cleanup and all the amenities. The property faces one busy road which was a bit noisy at night but is close to EVERYTHING. Only suggestion would be for there to be a coffee pot and maybe a Map for suggested parking spots. Thank you team for a great experience!!
