1BA/1.5 BA condo 1 block from the beach. Pool located behind our building. Condo includes full kitchen, queen sized bed in bedroom and queen air mattress to be used in living room for extra guests. Charging station with lightning, micro USB and USB-C plugs. Laundry room with washer and dryer included, as well as all linens. Hear the ocean from the front balcony and walk to the pier for fishing, food and fun. Beach chairs, umbrella and wagon provided for your use. Unit is the first floor above ground level parking.

Overall, everything was good as far as being equipped with everything needed. And, the beach was just a one block walk as advertised...great!! Where it all fell short was the hosts attitude and complete lack of responsiveness. We booked for 10 days. The first night I sent a note saying we were physically unable to fix a problem, her response was thanks for letting me know. The second time was a little more serious issue, so I left a voicemail. Never heard back. Apparently both are ongoing issues and were already malfunctioning before we arrived. Hey, Angela, spend a couple of dollars on a plumber to resolve the issues instead of expecting your guests to play handyman. Completely inappropriate!! VRBO stands for "vacation rental".

Very close proximity to the beach is accurate ! Unit is nice and comfy for a couple. We didn’t take pets but could tell it was pet friendly. Host are very nice and responsive to questions or needs. This has nothing to do with the hosts or unit but it is about 2 miles from most places to eat. I didn’t do good research and thought we could walk to the boardwalk The charge for parking anywhere around there is 6.00 an hour most eat in places don’t have free parking so that’s just a budget tip.

This place is perfect for two people. We loved how close it was to the beach and how quiet the area around us was. The condo could use a little updating, but it was very clean and cozy. All in all this was a great experience.

This condo was perfect for us. It was neat, air conditioning worked great, pool and beach were easily accessible. I would recommend bottled water and buy ice, as the water at most of the places we've stayed in Carolina Beach taste terrible! We brought our two dogs with us and there's a dog park about 5-10 minutes away if they want to be off leash for a bit

Beach Trip

My boyfriend and I stayed with our two dogs. The unit was clean and simple. We loved the balcony in the evening for afternoon drinks. The location is fantastic and super close to the beach. It was really easy to pack up the beach gear and dogs and walk to the beach. The host provided dog bowls and tennis balls which our pups loved. The unit is reasonably close to restaurants and shops, about 1.5 miles or so if you feel up to a walk. We chose to walk most nights since Carolina Beach strictly monitors parking and searches for folks with expired meters. Overall enjoyed the stay and the host was great! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in Carolina Beach!

Serenity is the place to be

We stayed at 'Serenity' for our 12yr wedding anniversary and the place lived up to its name. Quiet part of the island and had a nice breeze consistency. The beach is a 2 minute walk and the Boardwalk / restaurants / shops were a 5 minute drive away. Living area was comfy and bedroom/sleeping conditions were fantastic. Having 2 bathrooms and laundry facilities were key for us. Pros - close proximity to beach access, quiet location, simple check-in/check-out processes, short drive to entertainment areas of Carolina Beach, excellent communication with host Cons - little to no dry food storage space. Highly recommend this rental.

This is the perfect spot for travelers that desire to be close to the beach. We were able to walk the beach, walk Freedom Park, short walk to the pier and the perfect length walk to the boardwalk. The bed was super comfortable and the condo had everything we needed and more.

Family Trip

My husband, myself, 2 teenage daughters, and our 9yr old Pitty stayed at this lovely little condo. We loved our stay. The home was very pet friendly, as was the community. It was a little crowded in the living room after we blew up the air mattress, but that’s to be expected. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. There is a pier with nightly live band and tiki bar. It was kid and pet friendly. Our dog loved the balls, and helped himself to the balls every few minutes. We would stay here again!

Everything You Need

The condo was well appointed so that there wasn't anything you could ask for, even for the dog. Angela the host answered a question I had right away as I was on my long drive there & assured me she would respond to anything else I might think of. We discovered the toys the 2nd day & my dog's bunny we brought he cast aside, lol! You could hear the ocean quietly from the balcony being a short distance from the sand. I actually preferred that to being any closer where you could hear the waves constantly crashing.

The second my partner and I walked in, we saw so many bugs (we assumed they were roaches). They were coming from the couch in the main room. We walked straight out and had to book a hotel and ultimately had to cut our trip short. The communication with the unit manager was good, but the bugs shouldn't be a problem in the first place. Very unsatisfied, wish I could get a refund.
