'The house & deck were very nice with beautiful view of the lake. It could use some typical amenities like tissues, hair dryer, etc. The main problem is getting to the house. It’s a 3/4 mile drive down a narrow stone road riddled with potholes and bumps. I was afraid I was going to do damage to the rental car and that’s driving at or lower than the 15mph speed limit! '

'This was our third year in a row spending most of August at the wonderful Loons nest! Brent and Sarah are great and responsive hosts. The views and water are incomparable and the cabin itself has all of the modern conveniences while maintaining a rustic charm. It is one of our favorite places in the world and hope to be back next year!'

'The house was very nice and clean when we arrived, to find a basket of snacks, and instructions on how to manage the home. House is spacious and we had a nice chance to visit with our family while in Wilton. The boys enjoyed the basketball hoop and the fire at night for s’mores. It is located on a fairly busy street lots of trucks passing by. We do have family in New Sharon we probably will stay there again.'

'This is the quintessential cabin rental which provides good modern facilities with the vintage Maine camp feel we have always looked for. We will return to our 3rd rental at this property next year. Very satisfied with our experience.'

'We really enjoyed the property. The interior was nicely updated. The fire pit on the shore was perfect. The ride to Sugarloaf was a little further than expected but the coziness of camp made up for it. Will definitely consider another stay at this property.'

'This house is just like the pictures, except better. Right on the lake, exceptionally clean, and very well stocked. The kitchen has everything a good cook would want or need, and the cookware is in excellent condition. We hope to return!'

'Our stay was perfect for us and our wedding party! We enjoyed all of it but especially the heated floors in the up stairs bathroom haha no more cold feet after a shower! It was so easy to communicate with our host. We are so incredibly thankful that he was willing to extend our stay a night after!'

Alison and Todd were warm and welcoming from the moment I pulled into the driveway; they even left an assortment of local pastries to enjoy! I stayed at Moon Glo cottage while I searched for a Maine home to call my own and I'm happy to now include Alison and Todd as new friends. This is a wonderful place to stay while you explore all that the area has to offer. Thanks again to my wonderful hosts and new friends!'

'Property was exactly as listed - view of the lake from the deck and living rooms was beautiful. Host was very available and responsive. We had a wonderful time - there were 3 generations of our family with up to 14 members staying at the home. We also hosted a larger family get-together with an additional 10 people for an afternoon with permission from the host. Everyone was impressed with the house, property, lake views, deck and dock. Four of our young adult cousins stayed in the log cabin...
