Welkom bij Adams Place in het centrum van het prachtige historische Walkerville.
Dit onlangs gerenoveerde historische huis is gebouwd in de bloeitijd van Hiram Walker en Henry Ford en biedt alle voorzieningen voor een comfortabele vakantie of zakelijk verblijf.

Deze accommodatie op de tweede verdieping beschikt over een groot balkon met uitzicht op het prachtige Willistead Park, dat het pand rond Willistead Manor herbergt en dat meer dan 300 bomen van verschillende variëteiten bevat. Ontspan met een glas wijn en mensen kijken onder een perfecte schaduwboom vanaf deze private baars. Geniet van ontspannende wandelingen in de prachtig aangelegde tuinen van het park of loop door de kap en bewonder de historische herenhuizen van weleer.

Adam's Place ligt dicht bij de trendy Walkerville-winkels, restaurants, brouwerijen en de historische Hiram Walker-distilleerderij. Op loopafstand kunt u een wandeling maken over Erie Street, Windsors Little Italy, dat is bekleed met fantastische bekroonde restaurants en cafés. In de buurt van Ottawa street is onze Farmers Market gevestigd.
Adam's Place is ook een goed startpunt om de wijnhuizen en nationale parken van Essex County, zoals Fort Malden en Point Pelee, te verkennen. Natuurlijk is het casino en het centrum van Windsor nachtleven op enkele minuten rijden met de auto. Deze locatie is gunstig gelegen minuten van de Detroit Tunnel, perfect voor Amerikaanse bezoekers of Canadezen op zoek naar een internationale vakantie!

The place was spotless with lots of books and historical items. The kitchen was stocked with three different coffee makers and an electric kettle. There were K-cups, tea bags, sugar, sugar substitute, pots, pans, lots of dishes and cups in the cupboards. The refrigerator was clean, and it contained cream for our coffee. The hosts provided a binder with maps and places to visit. The apartment is across from a beautiful park. If you are pretty fit, then you would be able to walk to many places to see and eat.The home has two TVs. None in the bedrooms...which I like. We were too busy to really watch them anyway. The balcony is ideal for early morning cups of coffee. The backyard is great for an early dinner. This place is wonderful to stay in, and the neighborhood is quiet and great to walk around.I wish I had photos to share because the place has an owl theme running through every room. (We were too busy enjoying our two weeks stay to take pictures/we were living in the moment)

As I’m enjoying the last warm evenings of the summer on my townhouse balcony, I take a peak at the walkerville manor’s domain. Reminiscing of the great history of this district.But it’s in these walls that a page of Windsor truly embodies itself.With a true Victorian style, this lodging is quite the tribute to the prohibition era and other turn of the century memorabilia.The pipes collection, authentic paintings, classic library and antique furniture transport any guest a century back.But for me, it was the vintage apothecary that got all my attention. As a collector, I find those medical rarities simply fascinating and also a bit eerie. In a certain way, bootleggers and pharmacists shared a passion for remedies.Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Wonderful house, great neighborhood

Very beautifully maintained & restored early 1900’s home in a beautiful area. We stay at a lot of short term rentals when traveling, and this was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Very clean and organized, yet well appointed with all that we needed during our stay. Renters should note there are some steep, narrow stairs to get to the unit. We have already recommended this place to a friend next time they are in the area. Would not hesitate to return!

Cozy and Unique

We loved our stay in Windsor because this multi-level unit had so much character. Private entrance, parking, trinkets from the history of the area, cozy basement, nice washroom downstairs, comfortable beds, and mostly the tree covered patio overlooking the area. We read about the history of Hiram Walker and walked the mansion park across the street. The kitchen is fully stocked and living/dining area very nice.

Very cozy stay

We loved our time at this beautiful home in historic Walkerville! Everything was super clean and comfy. Very comfortable beds and a wonderful shower in the basement level. Enjoyed watching a few movies in the little theater room area. Walked to nearby restaurants and the neighborhood is so cute and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Adam's Place in Walkerville once again did not disappoint!

This is a favorite area in Windsor. The apartment is perfect for us and has every amenity. The Bieszk's are wonderful hosts and very responsive. We appreciate them renting out Adam's Place. It is a much better value than paying as much or more for a hotel room. It's an easy drive to wineries, shopping, restaurants and Detroit for the Jazz Festival - the tunnel takes you almost directly to Hart Plaza on the river which is where two of the 3 main stages are located. It's also a great location to bide ride and walk. Having Willistead Park directly across the street is super convenient. This was our second time staying at Adam's Place and we hope to return again.

"Home away from home"

It was a lovely property, in a quiet location of Walkerville, a suburb of Windsor. More than adequately equipped. One of the down sides was the stairs, For those of advancing years, it would have been good to know ahead of time that the second bathroom was actually down in the basement.

Pictures just do not do this place justice!

It looks nice in the pictures to be sure but once you walk in and experience the ambiance of Adam's Apartments, you will know the pictures lie! It is just beautiful! An incredibly decorated apartment, stocked with anything you could ever want or need for a comfortable stay. Walking distance from a quaint little block filled with shops and restaurants and next to a beautiful, bustling park, you will find plenty to do nearby but it is a super easy drive to the casino and other activities. Might not be great if you have trouble with stairs and I don't think it is a great place for small children but as two adult couples, we were very happy with our stay. Thanks to Leon and Nella for being such great hosts!!
