Cottage by the shore - een adembenemend uitzicht op Lake Erie - Leamington, Ontario

Geniet van ons prachtig gerenoveerde en gedecoreerde huis aan het Eriemeer. Mooie prive-eigendom met 150 'van de waterkant. Geniet van uitzicht op het meer vanuit elke kamer in het huis. Het dek is onlangs gerenoveerd en uitgebreid. Het kijkt nu uit op het prachtige meer, waardoor u zich op het dek van een schip bevindt. Het pand ligt in een rustige en afgelegen gebied van het landelijke Leamington in een natuurlijke omgeving, omringd door bomen direct aan het prachtige Lake Erie. Stel je voor dat je in de eetkamer eet, ontspant in de woonkamer of op het dek zit terwijl je uitkijkt over het uitgestrekte en ongerepte Lake Erie. Geniet van wakker te worden met een prachtige zonsopgang boven het meer of in slaap vallen met de golven en de beweging van het water. Als u een plek om te ontspannen of gewoon een plek om te rusten tijdens een bezoek aan Leamington en de omliggende gebieden. Dit is uw plaats.
Het huisje ligt op tien minuten van Leamington en vijf minuten van Wheatley. Er zijn vele restaurants in zowel de stad evenals de winkels en entertainment. Wij zijn gevestigd naast de Hillman Marsh Conservation Area, evenals Point Pelee National Park.

One of our favourite stays in Pelee

The cottage is cozy yet feels spacious for the size, the location is perfect and is super private. Both Leamington and Pelee are quite close and Hillman Marsh is basically right next door.We checked in 15-20 minutes early without letting the host know and the security alarm went off. Be sure to check in at the right time or let the host know before entering! Be prepared to fill out a rental agreement before check-in.Overall we really enjoyed the stay and would definitely consider returning in the future.

This is an awesome place to stay! It’s clean comfortable and tastefully decorated. Right on the water, the sunrises are amazing. Communication with the host Maria was above and beyond. If you want a relaxing getaway, book this place!

Lakehouse getaway

We were blown away by the views, seclusion, and impressive patio and grounds at the cottage. We had a relaxing five days, the cottage was clean and lovely and had all the amenities you’d expect to find at your home. We ate every meal on the patio overlooking the lake and woke up early most mornings to enjoy the spectacular view of the sun rising over the lake. Looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely spacious cottage

We had a terrific week at the ‘Cottage by the Shore’. It is a beautiful, bright, spacious and incredibly clean home. The cottage is well equipped and tastefully furnished. What stood out for us was how comfortable the beds and sofas were, so sleeping and relaxing at the cottage was a delight. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the large deck, reading and admiring the view, and enjoying many of our meals outdoors. Previous reviews mentioned the excessive amount of bugs and spiders on the deck. This was not our experience at all, other than the few bugs that one should expect being in a cottage by a lake! The cottage is private, the surrounding are quiet, and the garden area is beautifully maintained. One thing to mention is that the cottage is about a 20 minute drive to town so make sure you have all of your supplies and groceries so you don’t have to keep ‘popping out’ for stuff! Our host, Maria, was incredibly supportive and a pleasure to deal with. This is a very special place and we hope to return some time in the future.

Clean place with a great view of Lake Erie. Well equipped kitchen; bbq on a big deck. Quiet. Within 15 minutes of the entrance to Pelee National Park by car and 10-15 minutes to Leamington (for grocery stores, etc.). A 5 minute walk to Hillman Marsh Beach et a few minutes more for the conservation area.

View of Lake Eire was outstanding...exactly as promised. Beach not a 5 to 10 minute walk around the corner. We did not originally realize that there was no wi fi at the cottage when we booked. Luckily. Maria pointed this out to us in our final confirmation so we came prepared...had printed out some local maps and local restaurant info before we arrived. Loved the location close to Point Pelee National Park and Hillman marsh.Maybe 10 15 minute drive into Leamington. Would definitely rebook.

Beautiful place on the water

Neat, tidy and well equipped cottage with large deck right on the water. We had fantastic weather and sitting on the deck was the best part. Deck is quite private as well, which was an added bonus. Owner was highly responsive and very friendly. Great stay and highly recommended.

Spectacular by the Shore

If you are thinking of renting this location, DO NOT HESITATE!! The property is better than the owner's description and photos. We have rented this property three times in the past four years, and we will be renting again. Clean, clean, clean. The view of the lake is incredible and the area is very peaceful. Extremely good communication with the owner. I would give a six star rating if I could.
