'The home was centrally located just off the highway. There are MANY steel steps to enter the home, just be aware of traveling with older parents or small kids. It is right on the water with a dock which was great for fishing. We spent most of the time sitting on the back deck enjoying the view. 'I made two bookings, very easy but one canceled abruptly and the second turned out to be a non-available property and I did not find out until an before check-in. I was credited 100 for my trouble. I recommend that anyone that chooses this method, to reach out to the management agency or owner immediately to get the actual status of the property.'

'The house itself was spot on, accurate description overall met our expectations. Our kiddos enjoyed the beach area and being able to swim in the bay. Outside was less than desirable. Grass was unkept, trees cut up laying throughout the yard, fence falling down. The parking was suspect. A little TLC would a long way. '

'The house was great i loved having 2 full bathrooms it made getting ready so much easier with family. The smell of the house was off putting. Dishes were not clean when they were put away but when i told the owner he was super sweet and apologized. Overall it was a good stay.'

'First off…our family did have a great time at this property. The location is perfect and being on the water with the huge dock was awesome! We also the loved upper and lower waterfront decks. The hosts were so nice and so responsive. There was an issue as soon as we arrived that he came to the house and we were able to discuss. Having said that, the inside is in need of repair. 'The property I originally supposed to have had,had plumbing issues so I was told that I will get another property which I did.Upon entering this property,there’s two levels. The first level was the kitchen, the living room with tv, one bedroom and one bath. The carpet looked as if it needed to be vacuum. There were dirty towels in a pile on the floor from the previous rental. The furniture was dirty. I wanted to leave but my family convinced me they were fine. I was very disappointed. The...

'Pictures were accurate for the "apartment" that was listed as a stand alone house. Playground for dogs was not fenced in by gates. Water access and pier listed was non existent. Pier/deck over water was once standing however, now all the boards are on the shoreline/beach area. Loose boards with nails piled on shoreline. Parking is TIGHT and only 4 very tight spots for vehciles. 1 parking spot is used by owner who lives upstairs of the apartments. I have pictures if needed.'

'We loved the area. We loved having access (just a few blocks) to the ferry to go into Norfolk. The unit was just what we wanted: quiet, plenty of room for us with two bedrooms. Kitchen had all we needed. Loved the outside veranda especially in the morning. '
