Historische hotels in Wine Country

'The Napa River Inn is located by the river and in the downtown area. It is an old repurposed mill and it’s absolutely lovely. The garden surrounding the hotel are well managed and gives you a feeling of being close to nature. Hummingbirds abound as do pomegranate plants Nearby there is the waterfront restaurant which I highly recommend and the bakery called sweetie’s The rooms are very clean. The beds are extremely comfy, and I loved how the bathrooms were done in marble. '

'The Bergson absolutely lived up to our expectations and so did Calistoga with great walks, wineries, people and atmosphere. The Bergsom and Calistoga is a perfect place for a small get-away.'

'We stayed at Art House Hotel and Suites for 2 nights. Since it was a pet friendly hotel, it should get 10 stars just for that! We loved it. The room was very clean and spacious, The bathroom was great too! The king size bed was very comfortable and it was super quiet. Walking distance to downtown, very convenient! The breakfast was great! More than enough options. They also have Nespresso Coffe in all rooms. I highly recommend it!'

'Met name de lokatie van het hotel in het centrum van Petaluma was perfect. Ook het feit dat het wat ouder was maakte het tot een welkome afwisseling van de meer gangbare hotelketens. Ondanks dat was het schoon en netjes. Enige minpuntje is de wat norse receptie. Een glimlach en een 'have a good trip' zouden wonderen doen. '
