'This home was in perfect distance to all activities in the national Park area! Right in the middle of restaurants and a grocery store. The house was fantastic with all amenities. Owners were friendly and communication was great. If you are checking our West Virginia New River gorge area this is a place to stay! '

'Our stay at Backwoods Retreat was amazing! I will attempt to do it justice. The property is gorgeous! During the day there were deer, birds and all the beauty of the surrounding mountains. At night, the sky was filled with so many stars, it was hard to pick out even the most basic constellation. It is so quiet/peaceful! 'We loved Cardinal Cottage. Location was perfect for all the hiking and sight-seeing we wanted to do. The house was very cute, very clean, and very well stocked. It had everything we needed. Host was extremely responsive. The neighborhood is quiet with glorious trees and some wildlife to observe. We could not have been happier.'

'My family and I loved Joe's property! I brought my two dogs with me and I cannot tell you how nice it was to be able to let them off leash to explore his amazing property without having to worry about other people or dogs! His property is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the woods and creek. Listening to the symphony of peepers at night under the stars while relaxing in the hot tub was fantastic. It was a close enough drive to get in all the hikes we wanted to do at New River Gorge...
