'I chose this location because it was right on the water, and pet friendly, prerequisites for our vacation choice. The house is beautiful inside; clean, roomy, and perfect for our family size and gathering. We were celebrating my 70th birthday, and it could not have been a more memorable experience. 'This is a beautiful house in a idylic location. Our three couples had a comfortable, enjoyable stay - stunning sunsets, water access and nearby bike trails. We are giving five stars because of the property. We should take off points for the manager, but were so impressed with both the home and the location, it would not be fair the owners to present anything less than five stars. 'Really nice space at an affordable price. Kitchen and game room were awesome, check-in/out super easy. Longer drive to Stowe than we thought because Smuggler's Notch was closed. Master bedroom shower faucet was out but hopefully that's been fixed.'

'We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in lovely accommodations. This rental is on a quiet street that is very convenient to the UVM campus where we were visiting our daughter. The rental was very clean and comfortable! We would definitely stay there again on future trips. Highly recommend!'

'This was a very convenient location to have beautiful lake views and a quick drive to Burlington. Only complaint is conflicting info about whether or not pets were welcome. Online listing said no but when we arrived a sign said pets were welcome so that was frustrating as we had to arrange care for our pets while we were away. Since we spent a good deal of our time at the home we would’ve really appreciated being able to bring our dog.'

'We had an amazing stay at this property. It was perfect for the eclipse viewing. There was 6 of us all together, two elderly, 3 adults, and one baby. It was the perfect amount of space. The location was absolutely perfect and we are even thinking of coming back when it is in season. We enjoyed watching the train across the bay and there were amazing trails and views all along our drive. Very close to Ausable chasm which was another fun day trip. Highly reccomend!'

'We had so much fun staying at this cute a-frame. We were in town to ski, although it rained, we had a blast. The house is close to great restaurants and supermarket. The house was so clean and had everything we needed for us and the dogs. Hot coco for the kids, cute touch! Treats and poop bags for the dogs! We love to cook and the pots and pans were the best we have seen at a rented house! We really enjoyed the house and hope to be back!'

'We gathered to lay a loved one to rest. I was from the area and wanted the house to let us have time together. The beautiful location was a great start to our day. We had plenty of room to spread out while having great places to get gather together as well.'

'Beautiful house in a very nice location with very friendly hosts. We came up to move our daughter out of UVM dorm and then we used it as our jumping off point to Shelburn and, of course, downtown Burlington. We arrived on the later side and our host offered to drive me downtown to meet my wife so that we would not miss our dinner reservations. The space is very clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are amazing!'

'Comfortable and homey. The home was as described, kitchen had everything we forgot. The beds smelled like laundry detergent (in a good way) and were very comfortable. Nice stay. Fenced yard was great for the dogs, they did pick up several ticks though, so be on the look out for unsuspecting dog owners. Fantastic view from the hot tub.'

'We were a high school FBLA group attending our VT FBLA SLC at Champlain College. We enjoyed being able to walk to the UMall and convenience of being so close to everything. The house is clean and comfortable, lots of spaces to sleep and hang out.'

'I came here to spend Christmas with my daughter and we had a wonderful. The space is beautifully renovated with plenty of room and a nice kitchen to make Christmas dinner. The location is great - close to downtown and right near some athletic parks where the dogs enjoyed playing. We hope to come back.'

'The property manager did a good job taking care of a plumbing issue that interrupted our enjoyment of the stay. Unfortunately, a plumber had to work about 2 hours Sun. night til 10:30 PM, and called in a plumber with a bigger auger who worked the next morning to unclog the basement pipe. This was an issue that obviously had been there awhile! After he left, the tub/shower drained very slowly as well. After mentioning the plumbing work to the property manager, the company agreed to refund some...
