On arrival we were informed to dine within 8:30 p.m. and once sit at the restaurant (at approx 7:35 p.m.) we were informed that nothing on the menu, except for what displayed under "sunday roast", which included about 3 starters and 3 mains, would have been served. If we were told before we would have chosen a different dining location.
My daughter and I are allergic to oils and asked for a plain salad with 2 boiled eggs and were told that they couldn't make it as the boiling process takes to long (!).
Eventually we were served the salad with 2 slices of frozen avocado and payed £15 each for that! Just as crazy as it sounds.
Both the guys (both uncooperative) at the restaurant did not even informed us that there were unseasoned plain veggies available, which we learned as we saw other's dishes passing by. When we asked for a portion of that, it was 8:36 p.m., we were told that the kitchen was closed and that they would have just served desserts from that moment on. Unbelievable, the kitchen was shut but not for desserts.
Despite such bad experience in the evening, the morning staff was very kind and breakfast variety was very satisfying.
