The Brown Horse Inn
Super friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Incredibly dog-friendly including a 'dog welcome pack' and special 'exterior rooms' so you didn't disturb other guests when taking your dog in and out. Delicious food too.

Lakes Hotel and Spa
Spa was lovely, breakfast hot and fresh, room clean, we had a hot tub on the balcony which was great! Lovely stay

Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa
Good choice for breakfast. Clean rooms. Nice bar area, lots of seating. Spa is very clean and relaxing

Pine Lake Resort
The chalets are located around a lake with ducks and swans. Nice house with 2 bedrooms, a good sofabed, two badrooms and a complete kitchen. Very helpful reception. Sorry that we only booked one night. We will return!
