Well maintained caravan park and accommodation. Everything worked - lights, a.c., tv, fridge etc - even outside lights to light my way to shower & toilet at night. A rare thing in the Isa. A.C. Was on when I arrived at the end of a long hot drive - thoughtful gesture. Much appreciated. Stayed in a cabin (another word for donga in the modern world). This had a "private ensuite" - toilet & shower outside but close to cabin. Only downside - rather large, albeit friendly, dogs roaming around. I chose this accommodation simply on price. Mt Isa accommodation is unashamedly expensive for what is on offer & this was a 'special' price. I would not pay the normal listed price. So am continuing my search for suitable accommodation for my regular trips to Mt Isa. The rates for caravans seemed quite good & the grounds had a nice spacious feel.
