'The themed rooms are a must, we stayed in the chocolate room and were spoilt with treats. We were celebrating a birthday and the birthday boy was given a balloon, beer and card, to make the event more special. The staff were friendly. The tasting menu was delicious and substantial. The breakfast was a must and worth staying over for. The little extra, the home made granola, yoghurt with fruit compote were an unexpected delight. We left with a homemade chilli jam. '

'Very quirky pub with a fantastic horse theme. The rooms were fabulous and very comfortable. They had thought of everything in the rooms and also had Dolce Gusto coffee. Then curly wurly was a great idea instead of biscuits in the room. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. 'The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again.'
