'Had an awesome stay, right up in the mountains. Staff were great and even shuttled us to the train station and back whenever we needed it. Loved and it would definitely stay again. '

'Nice traditional old Japanese style stay. Though Breakfast is also traditionally Japanese style with rice! Yes morning Breakfast with rice, we still prefer bread or something light. Room extremely spacious compare to Tokyo city. Might need some renovations to upgrade tho.

'The greatest retreat from the hectic streets of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. After all those cities we came to this hotel in Minakami and never wanted to leave.
We had the best time here. The people working at this hotel were always attentive and ready to help us with more than we could ask for and we hope to be back soon.'

'This was a great experience to enjoy a hot springs Ryokan the staff was very detail oriented and very friendly. Dinner was an amazing experience. Had a private onsen in the room and spent much time in there at night listening to the light rain and enjoying the hot water relax and heal my body.'

"Redelijk hotel, maar skigebied is klein. Het ontbijt is beperkt in keuzes en het aanvullen matig. Het diner is van goede kwaliteit en de menu's uitstekend. De kamer werd niet standaard schoongemaakt en nieuwe handdoeken moesten we vragen. 7 nachten verbleven. Helaas had het hotel geen bar of andere verblijfsruimte."
