'This was mainly a fishing trip so we were expecting a rather rustic cottage. It was not. Very comfortable, lots of comfy seating with blankets and pillows and many extras. John and Rachel came to introduce themselves the first night and we found them very down to earth And friendly. We would definitely recommend this to anybody coming to the area. They are open year-round.'

'The host Eric was great to deal with. The camp was rustic and exactly as advertised. My wife and I went up for a week long moose hunt, we enjoyed every minute of it, loons and ducks out front every morning and the moose were only minutes from the door step. 'This was our first time in Aroostook County and we weren’t sure what to expect and now we can’t wait to come back! This house was truly amazing! It had everything that we needed to make our week magical. It was perfect for our dogs and the lake was perfect. The water was great and we loved exploring the different parts of the lake on our paddle board. Cross ride to the Canada boarder, easy to cross into NB and get back. Overall, perfect place for a family vacation.'

'We really enjoyed our stay! This property was great for us. We were a multi family group attending a biathlon event at the FKOC. The multiple rooms with their own bathrooms were amazing. There was also lots of room to socialize. The kitchen was also very well appointed making it easy to cook large dinners. I would highly recommend this property.'

We were there in winter though and did not have running water, which was the only inconvenience related to cooking, so did not cook. Shower and toilets in separate building, took a minute to reacquaint oneself with treks outside to the restroom and shower.'
