'A beautiful, well-maintained old (17C) building, complemented by the warm welcome from co-owner Elvira. We didn't meet her husband, but he was clearly hard at work in the kitchen. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms comfortable. The rooms felt quite opulent, with large mirrors, stained glass, pretty décor, a well-stocked ensuite bathroom, and deep beds. We slept and ate well!'

'We had a lovely short stay at The Feathers. The room was lovely, with an amazing bathtub and, best of all, AIR CONDITIONING, which we really appreciated as it was unusually hot during our visit. The room was also very quiet at night - we heard hardly anything from the pub. I recommend the pub itself too, lovely decor and very friendly staff. We would definitely stay there again, and absolutely recommend it to other travellers. '

'An enjoyable stay, use of the spa being free as a guest, 2 hour booking having the spa to ourselves was extra special, weather this be the same if hotel was busy, spa pool was quite small would have been quite full. Staff friendly and courteous. Highly recommend the Coctails, a little pricy, reduce to £9 as £13 bit steep, we would have had more.! We ate in the restaurant great choices nicly presented. £9 for a dessert again a little pricy. '

The pool had been in use when we arrived and we were told we would only be able to use after 7:30pm and pool closed at 8:00pm, which was disappointing as it was one of the reasons for booking this hotel. The staff however told us we could have longer time which was lovely of them. The pool is not massive but enough to have a good swim.
