'This was advertised as "rustic" but was actually beyond rough. Dirty and in disrepair. Unsafe and unsanitary. Missing smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. Dust and grime built up in the vents and windowsills. Black mold on the walls and ceilings. Messaged with the host ahead of time and was mislead on the state of this accomodation. Found it was totally uninhabitable. Took photos and reported to VRBO and was fully refunded by the platform based on those pics alone. '

The owners did a phenomenal job renovating this historic home- it was decorated in a charming, lovely, updated manner while preserving the structural character of an older home. We've stayed in many properties, never knowing if there would be any basic supplies provided- this had perfect supplies (paper products), while also offering appreciated extras (coffee, tea, Qtips, cotton balls, soaps, etc)'

'Our family loved this space. We were there for our Father’s funeral. The kids loved the upstairs space. Clean and tidy, everything we needed in the kitchen. Only downside are the doors in the rooms that share the patio did not close tightly and cold air was flowing into the rooms and they were quite cold. However, we will return.
