'We cannot say enough about how FANTASTIC this property is. Perfectly located near everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood; Albert's houseboat was absolutely one of our favorite aspects of our trip. Comfortable, fully equipped, it was hard to leave it every day (one day, we didn't leave till dinnertime!) 'Such a great location. Close to everything and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for! Host was wonderfully accommodating which we really appreciated! Only very very minor complaints were the water didn’t get hot enough to utilize the bath, (I like scalding hot baths!) and the internet was in and out a bit. Everything else was amazing! Would absolutely stay again.'

'We enjoyed the location tremendously; and, staying on the boat added a charming ambiance to our Amsterdam experience. On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. So, if you don't mind dealing with all the oddities, go...

'We had a great longer weekend near Amsterdam. The owner were very friendly and helpful for the start of our staying. The houseboat is perfectly equipped for a couple and very comfortable. With the two bicycles, part of the houseboat, it was very easy to reach city centre'

'Het was een fijn huis, we hebben de sloep erbij gehuurd en daardoor konden we alles over het water doen, boodschappen uit eten. De verhuurders reageerde snel en goed. Kortom een aanrader.'

'Highly recommend this wonderful houseboat to everyone! The two bedroom unit is all new, beautiful furnishings and well appointed kitchen. Each bedroom has its own shower! Excellent! 'I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!'

'This houseboat is not fancy - but it is as comfortable as being at a friend's cabin - we didn't want to leave. We had not stayed in Amsterdam before, so wanted our first few nights to be something unique. The boat was perfect! It was close walking to everything, yet it was quiet and relaxing once inside. Watching the crowded tourist boats traverse the river was a fun diversion. Our friends staying in a hotel were jealous of the roominess experienced on the boat. While we didn't cook, the kitchen...

'The houseboat meets or exceeds expectations from photos and descriptions. It is very well appointed with great amenities and in a great location. Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. We have stayed in Amsterdam before but have never experienced it like this and would highly recommend. It is a destination in itself.'

'De kamer was zeer ruim en over het algemeen vrij proper. Er waren ook verschillende zaken voorzien in de keuken (bv. pannen, borden, bestek, spons en afwasmiddel). De personeelsleden aan de balie waren steeds vriendelijk. Op wandelafstand bevindt er zich een tramhalte waar regelmatig trams naar Amsterdam passeren. Fijne locatie om te vertoeven na een werkdag.'
