The bathriom had large water stains in ceiling. Lighting was very poor in bathroom and room. The toiket had a large shoe print on lid. Towel was dirty. Hotel was loud.

It was in a odd location to find. The lighting could be better on the outside of the building. The front desk greeter was pleasant though had communication issues. Pillows were comfortable and bed was OK. Needed some upgrades.

We have used this hotel in the past for all of our employees that come from another state and had no problems. We used it this time and our employees said it was noisy, drugs were being used and they were very uncomfortable staying there.

We have stayed at least two times before. Our room was clean and quiet. On our last night we had a problem with noise next door. After calling the desk clerk five times the noise finally stopped.

Entrance was unfriendly. No one at counter to greet us. Had to call them after 5 minutes to help us get checked in. Room was very cold when entering. Looked old and dingy. Parking lot was dark and no signage or bad signage from street entrances

Door to room didnt work. I had to stand in the lobby for 20 minutes while they tried to get the door open. Finally tgey gave me a different room. I asked them as soon as there was a probkem...and they said...sorry, no other rooms available. Poor service.

We did understand the hotel was in the middle of a renovation. However our room was very dusty- and I am not talking about a little dust! The low watt light bulbs was a hardship as you could not read or apply makeup furthermore the low lights in bathroom would make it impossible to clean properly. Again, understand in the middle of a renovation- but should consider these comments. Thank you

Horrible.
I booked this on hotels.com a few months ago. We got there and not only did they say we didn’t have a reservation ( I showed them my confirmation for hotels.com) but they said they were sold out and didn’t give us a room. And were nonchalant. “Oh well sorry” they said they have lots of problems with hotels.com

Stay here every year while visiting family
$120 for our furry friends to stay w/us for 2 nights, seems a bit crazy. We haven’t stayed in the winter before; there was a pile of 3 feet of snow right in front of the opening where your pets (usually) can stretch, run & potty. No where to go accept for the icy parking lot. Sidewalks needed attention; I had to shuffle in order not to slip & wipe out. That being said, the staff was pleasant & welcoming. Room was comfortable.

Not best brand for the money.
I reserved 3 nights. I assumed it was going to be a normal chain hotel experience because it was a Wyndham property but it felt more like a second rate hotel experience. I checked in 12-30 and stayed 1 night but did not have good sleep and for the rate (115 a night/ comparable to other chains) was not satisfied with the property. At 9:30 am I talked to manager to cancel my remaining 2 nights. He said they could not let me out of my prepaid reservation. Hotels said it is up to property owner. They could not even print me a receipt or explain why I had to pay for all 3 nights when I wanted to leave. My room was not conducive to a good sleep, the bathroom energy auto sense light was attached to a very loud fan. Between that and the noisy heater sleep was tough. Room would get too hot or too cold and throughout the night I had to turn heater on/ off.TV offering minimal. Breakfast adequate, but ( on a Sunday) stopped at 9. We were eating ours so I did not miss out but right at 9 they cleared the food even as a few stragglers walked in. That did not feel hospitable to us. The manager DID offer to give me another room but I think this is the general condition of the hotel and not just that things were in disrepair only in my room.I moved to a different brand hotel, paid $5 less a night and had a much much better experience in size of the room, quality of the breakfast, quality of the service, TV channels, and all the infrastructure such as the bathroom lights and the heating.

Disappointed
Our room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was less than desirable. There was no coffee at 7:30am when my husband went to get us some. He let the front desk person know and she had to get coffee made. Then an hour later when we went to ear breakfast the eggs and other items were empty and once again the front desk person needes to be informed. Even though the problems were addresses it seemed ridiculous to us that these basic breakfast staples were not kept up with.

The bed was really comfy. The linens smelt fresh. Looks like they need to buy some new bath towels though. It was dark in the bathroom. Thought it was too expensive for what you got. Overall the bed was nice and the TV was nice.

Went for a long weekend, perfect placement between Illinois railroad museum and Volo auto museum. We spent a full day at each. Obtained a good night's rest before heading out on the long drive home.

It was old, It smelled like dirty gym socks, the room was not worth the money we paid for it, we asked the guy at the desk how to get somewhere and he said he wasn't from there and didn't know how to get anywhere. The room was humid, we had the thermostat on the air conditioner set at 72 to try and get the humidity out of the air and that didn't work there was no fan or light in the shower, other than the staff, it was old and run down. Would NOT recommend this place
