'Had a lovely break here, had everything you could want, in a great location for exploring the Malvern's. We had one evening of good weather so made use of the bonus balcony. The property is very spacious and comfortable and clean. We liked the location, near walks, and a short drive from the shops and cafe's. We had some bad weather but found the apartment perfect for chilling and escaping to!'

'From the start to the finish everything was perfect. Paul and Elaine were so friendly and welcoming, we did not have any issues whats so ever. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice relaxing weekend away from reality. Me and my partner will definitely be coming back up again later on in the year.'

'Thank you for such a memorable stay, it was just the escape we needed in these times. The set up is perfect. We enjoyed use of the pool, games room and private hot tub. Although in place for covid it was nice having a pool timetable for each of the guests. We loved the welcome hamper, a really personal touch and the shepherds hut itself was very cosy and well equipped. We also enjoyed some of the recommended pubs and restaurants local to the area. 'I didn’t exactly know what I was letting myself in for when I booked into The Shepherd’s Lodge but it was actually a pleasant experience and it provided exactly what I was looking for i.e. a comfortable place to lay my head at night and have a cup of tea and few quiet hours after a long day at a Folk Music Festival. The only problems I encountered were due to the weather and therefore beyond anyone’s control. '

'Great location, walking distance to Tesco’s and the High Street. Lovely view of the canal basin and a cute little balcony to enjoy it from. Everything you need and then some for a lovely stay in Stourport. The hosts are very accommodating and go the extra mile with things like juice, milk, eggs, and bread in the refrigerator and laundry detergent for the washer and dryer. Running to the grocery is not an immediate priority which is so nice. We would definitely stay again. Thank you. 😊'

The booking property details stated contacting the host for additional fees ( see above ) after parting with the non refundable cost of the booking. 'Putrid smell from sink. More charges after you pay, one non refundable. Couch sinks, ( broken springs), stairs leading up to apartment smells.hot water was noisy of a night, iron spits out black spots, no frypan or salad/microwave bowl, no wifi when we arrived (no return call) no vanity unit or bench to put toiletries on despite large bathroom. Utensils dirty, Overall mutton dressed up as lamb. '

'On arrival the key safe wouldn't open the owner came and let us in on looking round the cleanliness was not up to standard dirty t stained mugs, inside fridge dirty and rusty,and the bed sheets hadn't been ironed just thrown on got the owner round and informed her of the problems and we left . Still waiting for refund she agreed to.'
