'We originally booked the cottage to do some hiking, however trails in NS were closed due to risk of wildfires, understandable. We still had an awesome time, drove the Cabot trail, went to the beach, explored the area. We will be back and will definitely stay here again. The cottage was perfect. The kitchen had all necessary tools, everything was clean, the space was cozy. '

'This resort has yurts and domes as well as rooms in the lodge. The yurts and domes do not have their own baths. The lodge rooms where we were did. The room had a double bed and a single. The double was quite comfortable, the single not so much. Our room was on the bottom floor. There was a restaurant attached and the option to have a package with breakfast and dinner. Though we didn't have the package we did eat a breakfast and a couple of dinners. The food was excellent. They have music...

'This property is a jewel - basically within the national park and surrounded by the beauty of the woods. From this location we were able to get to premier hikes so quickly, arriving before all the crowds. Our host, George, was great with communication, and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed, and sparkling clean. We feel lucky to have found this property!'

' We loved our stay at the Big Intervale Fishing lodge. Everything was fabulous, the environment, the hospitality of Hermann and Ruth, the riverpool, our lodges and the excellent food (breakfast and dinner). We were sad we had to leave after two nights. 'This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. The bed was great and having a coffee on the front deck was a great way to start the day. Thank you to the hosts! Cheers @EddieMac75 '

'The location was beautiful and well cared for. It is a true family run business with the feeling of the passion and love of the owners in all aspects. My brother and I enjoyed our stay and met the owners *who gave me a ride back up the hill when I forgot my keys! I would recommend to anyone looking for a Cabot Trail basecamp! '

'Cozy cabin in the woods, our dog didn’t want to leave. The bed was a double but we slept better in it than we did with some queen beds. The cabin can get warm for summer but we were able to create a good cross breeze by opening both windows and using the fan provided. It is a beautiful glamping experience. The compost toilet was the biggest adjustment for us. The ferry nearby can be a little noisy if sitting outside but hardly ever noticed it in the cabin. Unfortunately the trails and sauna were...

'Maude’s place is a beautiful, cozy house with a lovely view. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck, watching the boats and birds. A small beach is right at the end of the driveway and a nice place for a short walk. The kitchen was well equipped. The national park is nearby and has many wonderful trails to hike. We thoroughly our stay and hope to be able to visit again soon!'
