'Dana was an absolutely great hostess! Anything we needed, she provided. The area was breathtaking. The cabin was spotless. It was located so closely to Beavers Bend, without all the traffic. The only complaint we had was that we could not stay any longer. We will definitely visit the Pine Cone again!'

'The cabin was really relaxing and quite. Had more kitchen stuff then other properties I have stayed at. Somethings that need to be noted is the mirrors in the bathrooms need to be lowered. They are to tall for short people. Add a dresser to the bedrooms. Nothing in kitchen to scrub dishes with. Timer knob on gas in new outdoor grill area was rounded out, replace knob. Those are minor issues, nothing that would keep me from staying at this property'

'A group of us met to see the eclipse. We stayed in the cabin. Others stayed at the state park and hotel. The cabin was so awesome it became the meeting place. Everyone loved it. The back deck and the large living room were great gathering places. We would definitely stay here again.'

'The Tall Oak Cabin was in a great location with just enough seclusion from the main road. We enjoyed our stay especially with the use of the hot tub and fire pit. The only problem we had with the cabin is the lack of essential items such as salt and pepper (there was only one pepper shaker), no ice machine/ice tray, and the cabin has a guest book, but no pen on property to write about our experience. We also appreciated the small cleaning duties.'
