'A great place to stay whilst in the area. Kitchen and lounge downstairs with bedrooms upstairs..each with own very small shower toilet and sink. Lota if cupboard space. Kitchen and lounge lovely and big with all you need....but bring your own tea or coffee as there is none here.'

'The rooms were very inexpensive. They were very small. But clean and the beds were a lot more comfortable than most of the beds I’m finding in the UK. The bathrooms and kitchen were meticulously clean and organized. The kitchen had and oven, stove, microwave, coffee makers and every utensil, pot, pan, or sheet I’d need to cook. The only down side is there’s no plates, bowls to put my food in. I had to eat the food out of the pans I cooked them in. And the can opener doesn’t work. But those are...

'Stayed a couple of nights due to its convenient location. Great to have a leisure club attached. The staff were all great, the food and bar service was good. Breakfast was nice too. My wife and I did find the bed a little uncomfortable due to it being 2 single mattresses joined together so it had a ridge down the middle. If you want to use the Spa then book early. Friday evening had an amazing keyboard player entertaining in the bar providing background music which was a nice touch. '

'Staff were all courteous and Hotel is really nice. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and the food was amazing. Prices very reasonable. My only negative was the size of our double room! It was really only big enough for a single bed and we were very cramped. Bathroom was lovely though.'

'Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us. The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful.
