'We stayed here on a family trip and I love how the family rooms are separated by a curtain to give you some privacy and has two temp controls which is very helpful as two of us run hot and the other enjoy the heat.
Staff were lovely and super helpful in assisting with arranging transportation. The resident dogs are also very friendly and love all the guests that come through.'

'The Li River resort is very well situated, on a quiet place near Jungshuo. The staff is friendly and helpful with small issues but also arranging tailored programmes in the region upon request. The bike tour arranged by the hotel was really worthwhile. The owner is hospitable, professional in a accommodating way, but never pushy. The rooms and the hotel in general are done with taste, ensuring a relaxed stay. Most rooms have a beautiful view on the Li River. '

'This is a gem of a hotel. Tucked away so you wouldn’t even know it was there. We arrived at night and it was beautifully lit and in a gorgeous setting. The staff are wonderful- friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The chef is great - highly recommend having dinner there. They also booked a tour and guide for us which was great. Everyone and everything is perfect.'

'We loved this hotel. It is situated next to the ancient town of Xingping and you need to get a small ferry across the river to get to it if you come from Yangshuo Railway Station. However, it’s worth the little extra effort as it feels like a getaway quiet retreat from the busy streets of the town. There are many outdoor activities around the hotel that can be scheduled. The owner is amazing and nothing is too much effort for her to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel also helps...

'Amazing views and designed. Clean, friendly staff that works hard. My only complaints are the shower isn't well designed it has a lot of standing water all the time as it doesn't drain, and there's no real service at the pool area, you have to hunt someone down. The buffet for breakfast was fine, nothing special but pretty in how they set it up. I didn't try the expensive restaurant as they wanted to charge $300 a person for the tasting menu. Insane pricing really - we ate for $20-30 a night...

'The room was a good size for the price and was decently clean. Cleaning staff maintained the room and brought water everyday. The staff and owners were very kind, going above and beyond in order to make the trip memorable. They helped book many of my tickets and were even able to offer some discounts on certain tickets! No matter what you need if you ask them they will do all they can to accommodate and help you on your trip'

'Our stay was perfect, the staff were so helpful and kind. The view from our room was once-in-a-lifetime. The afternoon tea and cakes were delicious and not too sweet. We would recommend staying here any time you’re in Yangshuo!! The pool was really warm in late October.
Logistically, the hotel makes you feel like you’re at home. Laundry machines are available. Deliveries to the hotel from Meituan were easy, and the hotel has a nice breakfast every morning so you don’t have to leave paradise if...

'A lovely, quiet, family-run hotel in Huashan, 3km from the hustle and bustle of Xingping old town.
Google Maps location is not correct, so here are the coordinates to help you find it: 24.9269990, 110.5008000.
The owners are super friendly and helpful.
Free pick-up from Yangshuo was perfect. Rooms are spacious, air-conditioning works well and bed is comfy. Chinese breakfast is huge and very tasty (noodle soup, sweet potato, fried egg, fresh fruit). Western option also available.
The best...
