'We had the most amazing, relaxing stay at this beautiful hotel. The grounds are stunning and just a short walk got us to the Bryntyrion P'

'Arrived at the property after travelling for over 2 hours for a 2 night stay, there was a sign on the desk stating the boiler had broken and there was no hot water. They had known about this for over 24 hours and had not got in touch so we could make alternate arrangements. Due to this we, and the late notice we could not find anywhere else. They also stated they could not give us a refund and this would have to be done through Expedia so we would not of had the money to stay somewhere else...

'Avoid! I stayed in a single room on the second floor of this pub. The room was very tired/shabby and in desperate need of a deep clean. Old carpet fraying around the edges, dirty splashes up the wall, etc. Sloping, creaking floor. The mattress was old and uncomfortable - springs dig into you all night. I’m always wary of non-white towels and bed linen as cleanliness is never as good - it’s dark grey towels here and grey bed linen. Thin pillows and duvet. And the TV didn’t work. I now see...

'The room wasn’t bad, and nothing was inherently bad. It was relatively clean. Although, the bath panel was off, the room smelt damp, there was no hot water, the bath mat was mouldy. '

'Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus. '

'Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...
