'River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. Lanhydrock and Antony are worth visiting. Polperro Fowey and Seaton are nearby and worth a visit. There are steps down to the cottage which need care but we...

'Beautiful location. Modern interior with usb plug sockets and everything needed to hand. Jonathan is a great communicator and is a local so can respond quickly if needed. '

'Nice neigbourhood, shops and urban restaurants closeby, not touristic, close to waterfront with nice small beach (no sand), caves that are worth to visit nearby. Accomodation clean, well equiped, towels present, kitchen with coffee, salt, oil etc present. We (couple with daughter) enjoyed our stay very much at this accomodation and location.'

'We hebben nog nooit zo’n mooi huisje gehad, super sfeervol ingericht. Dorpje leuk met geweldige pub en fijn dorpswinkel in de straat. Vele mooie wandelroutes in de omgeving. We wouden eigenlijk niet weg!!'

'Stayed here for 4 nights. The house was well equipped and very clean. Communication with host was great. A lovely gesture by the host leaving a bottle of prosecco and box of fudge. Very close to the beachfront, which was great as parents are almost 90 years old. Didn't realise the caravan park was directly in front which was our main view, small view of the sea could be seen from balcony. Lovely coastal walks without taking the car.One downside of the area was the road in and out , it was so...

'We zaten verder van Exeter, dan we op basis van de advertentie verwachttten. Alexander is een prima gastheer, die altijd voor je klaar staat. Een minpunt was het zwakke internet.'

'Thank you to Johnathan for an amazing stay at the Wilderness barns. It’s such a home away from home with everything you need for a week away. It is very rural and peaceful which suited us perfectly. A lovely relaxing retreat. The dogs loved it too with a lovely secure garden for them and us to enjoy. Johnathan was very helpful when we had a few initial issues which were rapidly resolved.Would love to stay again. '

'We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in deze zeer complete cottage op de grens van Devon en Cornwall. Midden op het platteland en toch de snelweg dichtbij. De eigenaren hebben aan alles gedacht in en om de cottage en je bent echt helemaal op vakantie. 'dirty utensils,cups,eating bowls, freezer leaking water and mildew growing inside. dirty sheet with dirt on and stains. both bed had springs coming through, one bed had a large dip in the middle, damp place, radiator controls had been taken off so it could not be adjusted. car parking was dangerous not wide enough to get in and out bust road, even though we asked hostes if the parking was wide enough for our car, they said it was. the stairs did not have a banister to go safely up and down...

'Beautifull position, veiws outstanding, well equipted, very cosy, and clean, In a brilliant postion for walking and relaxing, also just a quick hop across the ferry to vibrant Dartmouth with many shops and restraunts. Carparking is a couple of minutes walk away, perfect. The property has a lovery patio where to relax and blow your mind as the sun sets.
