It's really Jogya...
As soon as you arrive there, you smell the Javanese flowers and spices which make you feel so fresh... The ambiance and decorations, also the food in the restaurants tell you you're in Jogya, central Java.

comfortable hotel not too far from the city centre
Tentrem has a reputation as a very comfortable hotel with excellent food and spa facilities, a place to give yourself a treat. We found it impressive initially, until we started noticing some maintenance problems. The AC in our room was noisily active but did not cool (the room remained several degrees hotter than the corridor), and this did not improve after servicing. We had to move to another, less comfortable, room to get cool. There was also a problem with the shower, which leaked water where is should not. The bed was large and really comfortable, but the bedsheets had some stains on them. The breakfast buffet was extravagant in the richness of choice, Western and Indonesian food. The neighbourhood is uninviting; there is little of interest here, and the distance to the centre is just too far for a stroll.

This hotel is so beautiful and luxurious , from the lobby stuff to the restaurant servers they all so helpful and friendly only thing is the location is not covering

Whilst the property is grand, it feels to be lacking a soul. If you are travelling with a family, you will probably find the children running up and down the bedroom corridors, screaming in the lobby and running between the tables of the cocktail bar on a Saturday night reassuring. The buffet breakfast contained many local choices and was clearly popular with the packed large dining hall, the overflow tables in the corridor and the roped queuing area and the rows of dentist style waiting room chairs for those wanting to eat. Whilst the hotel seemed popular with the many, many people who were there, it wasn't what we were expecting or hoping for. The out of town location was also not helpful for us as tourists in Yogyakarta.

leider gibt dort keine draussen zum spaziergang laufen. nur im Gebäude..auch Schwimmbad würde gereinigt leider sieht man dort Wasser trüb aus.. es macht uns Mut trotzdem schwimmen.. auch beim Breakfast gibt fast immer deselbe keine Abweschelung und keine gute Beobachtung um Ordendlich bei Kindern bei Breakfast. Manche es macht uns schlecht..lieber gehen wir doch andere Hotel gehen. Sonst wir zufrieden mit diesem Hotel.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms are spacious and staff is friendly. Location is convenient, not far from airport. It is also not far to Malioboro and other attractions such as Prambanan. However, be aware that traffic in Yogja is very slow and congested, so it can take 40-60 minutes to travel just 20Km by car. Hotel breakfast is excellent! We also had dinner one night, and the Balinese cuisine is excellent. The only complaint I have is that the towels had a bad smell. At first I thought it was just a bad batch, but the towels we received in the following days also did not smell good. They had an odor as if the washing machines are not cleaning thoroughly.

Very, very helpful, friendly , honest and concerned staff. Money change with no extra charge and very good exchange rate (internet ex rate), no money changer or bank necessary. Breakfast on fleak, huge range of dishes - yummy, recommend buffet at hotel's Cinese Restauarant.

Love everything about this hotel, just like the name, it really feels "tentrem" the moment you step in into the hotel. Nice hotel and staff but too noisy
We spent 4 night in this hotel and enjoyed the space rooms and nice pool. Special mention to the staff who was extremely friendly and helpful during all our stay. The breakfast buffet is one of the most generous we have ever seen. But the major drawback is the noisiness of the place: room have not been soundproofed well and you can hear motorbikes all night. And worst, there is a military compound 200m away who woke us up at 6:30 with yelling orders and military music....

서비스와 위치면에서 최고 호텔
오바마가 머물렀던 호텔이라서 기대를 했던 탓인지 약간 오래된 시설에서 실망을 했지만 수영장도 아름답고 조식도 종류가 다양해서 좋았으며 특히 서비스가 좋고 직원들이 모두 웃는 얼굴로 친절하게 대해주니 참 좋았습니다.
