'Taxi's couldn't drive down the street, so you had alot of stairs to climb. Poor lighting when checking in at night, and key pad has the bell sign over the # key so was confusing. Also got wrong details when checking in.'

Chris was an awesome host helping me whenever I needed it. Everything was provided, except for shampoo. I brought my own, but others may find that unexpected. 'If you have the urge to stay in what might be a medieval castle, consider this property. It was listed on one website as a 1* facility. Confusing to find the entrance & check in. Someone from the restaurant eventually assisted us. Yellow limestone brick walls … which are fine. No elevator so not an accessible property. There is a 3 piece bathroom (some black mold) in each room, wifi, TV. & AC. There is no fridge, coffee or tea available. There is no where to put your luggage except on the floor....

'An excellent boutique hotel perfectly located for walking to the many places to visit in Mdina and Rabat. Very close to the main bus stops and restaurants. The hotel is in a grand old building, fully and tastefully modernised inside. Our room was spacious and well appointed. And spotlessly clean. Breakfast was generous; we appreciated the range of fruits. Grace made us very welcome throughout our 3 day stay and was very helpful on practicalities like transport. 'Fabulous accommodation for a short stay. This room doesn’t have windows so only suitable if you’re intending to be out and about most of the day. Really easy to follow emailed instructions on entry to the property and access to your room. Offers breakfast but I didn’t require this and there’s plenty of small convenience stores in walking distance. Would definitely use again'
