'Prachtig hotel! Mooie kamers. Relatief klein restaurant maar met prima ontbijt. Enige minpunt is de omgeving. Iets buiten het centrum en veel bouwwerkzaamheden in de buurt. Maar als je een auto hebt moet dat geen probleem zijn.'

'Heute ging unsere erste Albanienwoche im Apollon Saranda zu Ende. Das Hotel ist mit seiner Sauberkeit, seinem tollen Personal zu 1000 Prozent zu empfehlen. Hervorzuheben sind hier die Angestellten der Strandbar sowie beim Frühstück, welche alle nach 1 Tag wussten was man trinkt ❤️ Der Strand und die Lage sind top, dass einzige was bemängelt werden kann , ist unsererseits dass Frühstücksbuffet. Wer sich halbwegs gesund ernähren möchte ist hier Fehl am Platz. Es gibt keinen Müsli und das einzige...

'The Ilio Hotel was quite new, but there were some things not good. The bed sheets were loose, so they were all over the place. When showering, the whole bathroom was soaking wet because there was no shower curtain. The breakfast was included, but only after a little discussion. And still had to pay for the coffee, 400 lek.'

'The team at the hotel made us feel so welcome. The hotel is a 5 minute walk out side the main drag. That means you have access to the nightlife, but a nice quiet sleep at night. More than everything the staff made us feel like family, helped us organise day trips to the amazing archeological park and the incredible mountains. Really excellent. Thank you. '

'Spacious modern apartments close to the beach. Best accommodation we have stayed in for the price. The apartments look very new and are beautifully decorated. Only issue would be if you have a car, the road up to the property is narrow and difficult to navigate as cars go up and down all the time but struggle to pass each other. We didn’t have this problem thankfully as we were walking. '

'Excellent hotel, great value for money. Very clean, with nice facilities and service. Private balcony and kitchen are included and housekeeping even takes care of your dishes. You can start your day on the shared terrace with a good coffee. The boulevard, pebble beach and plenty of shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Friendly and relaxed owners give you a great south Albanian experience. Some driving experience might be useful to get up the hill by car. '

'The staff were incredibly helpful and the included breakfast was fresh and delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The roads were under construction around the area so were a little hard to navigate, but overall it was a wonderful stay.'

"The view is absolutely stunning! There's quite a big difference in rooms. Some of the rooms are completely renovated (specially the bathroom) and others are not. We got lucky and received a brand new room, but friends of ours didn't and the bathroom was in real need of renovations. The reception isn't always that friendly, but overall we had a very nice stay, the view (such a beautiful bay) and breakfast (what is wonderful, by the way) make up for those little inconvenients "
