"Zeer vriendelijk personeel bij de receptie, in het restaurant en bij het ontbijt! Schone, ruime kamer met een fijn bed. Op deze zonnige dagen was de kamer (op de bovenste verdieping) wel wat warm. Restaurant en hotelbar waren van goede kwaliteit. Het ontbijt ook en had een ruim assortiment. De spa was ook boven verwachting."

"We were n the 12th floor and had a terrific view of the city center and harbor. Our only complaint would be that room service ends when the kitchen closes at 10pm. One night we returned from Gulfoss waterfall at 11pm and went to sleep hungry. But the breakfast is terrific."

"After parking in the Kolaport bílahús it was a short 5 minute walk to the hotel while looking at the boats in the harbour. The hotel has a bakery right at the entrance so we had to wait for people to move aside in the queue to walk past and get to the reception. Honestly this is the only remotely negative thing there is to say. The reception is very friendly, the interior is wonderful and it feels very safe as you need to use your keycard to access the floor. The room was spaceous, the beds are comfortable, the shower is everything you need after a long day of exploring Reykjavik and even the shampoo/showergel is provided. Checking in and out was very easy and fast and the location is perfect for being just a walking distance away from the busier centre. We have enjoyed our two days in Reykjavik and our stay at the Exeter hotel was a big part of it."
